In the apocalypse, survival depends on your ability to adapt and make the most of the environment around you. Nature can be both a friend and a  foe, and you must learn to harvest resources from various sources such as fallen logs, bushes, plants, and animals, as well as reclaimed materials from abandoned structures. 

To do this effectively, you'll need the right tools, which can be found by searching cars, containers, and buildings. 

As you scavenge for items and resources in the wilderness, you'll have the chance to craft life-saving items such as bandages, medicine, tools, and upgrades for your weapons.

In the apocalypse, managing your vitals is crucial for survival, as hunger, thirst, temperature, fatigue, and illness pose constant threats. To rest,  recover, and prepare for the journey ahead, setting up a campsite is essential. 

At camp, you can cook food, stay warm, and sleep safely for the night, increasing your chances of survival in a world where danger lurks around every corner.

 

Form a community of trusted survivors and work together to scavenge for supplies, construct facilities, and build sustainable resources for your people. As you upgrade your facilities, your community will become a sanctuary of safety and comfort for your family, providing the stability you need to explore and search for help for your daughter in a world that's been turned upside down.

Experience your community to the fullest with full day & night AI cycles as they go about their day to day lives eating, sleeping and working to do their part in helping create a safe place in a fallen world.

Surviving in the post-apocalyptic world requires more than just managing your own health and resources. You'll also need to be cautious and aware of the dangers posed by other factions. Bandits roam the countryside, preying on the weak and defenseless, while larger factions fight for control of territory and resources. 

Additionally, as you travel, it's important to note that the vast wilderness around you is home to dangerous wild animals, further increasing the challenges of your journey.

 

In a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by a deadly virus, you play as a father desperate to save his sick daughter. Bandits and various factions roam the ruins of society, and resources are scarce. You must journey to a far-off hospital to acquire the medicine and equipment your daughter needs to survive. Along the way, you'll need to navigate dangerous territory and make difficult choices in order to keep yourself and your community alive. 

"As One We Survive" was born from the desire to share a post-apocalyptic story that explores the human condition in times of great adversity. It highlights the struggles we face and emphasizes the importance of unity and mutual support in surviving catastrophic world events. This story reminds us that, despite our differences, we all depend on each other to overcome the most challenging of circumstances.

Founded by Jeff Simmons, who serves as the creative director of 'As one we Survive,' he brings over 15 years of experience in the games industry. Jeff has collaborated with renowned companies such as Paramount, Nickelodeon, Brisk, and Time Warner, working on prestigious intellectual properties like Star Wars and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as well as hit indie games such as Furi from the Game Bakers and multiple other titles on both mobile and PC.

Jeff's journey began as a sound designer and audio implementer, but his creativity soon led him to embrace game design, world building, and lighting. Fueled by his profound love for crafting his own stories, he dedicated his career to mastering these skills, enabling him to weave captivating and unique narratives through his creations. Risks and challenges

As with any game development project, we acknowledge that there are inherent risks that can lead to problems or delays. However, we want to assure our backers that we have taken serious measures to minimize these issues throughout the development process. We have already built the core infrastructure of the game, dedicating months to resolving backend technical challenges such as world rendering, optimization, custom tools, and smart design choices. Beyond that, we are committed to open transparency as we continue development and will provide monthly updates. As fellow backers, we understand the frustrations caused by failed deadlines, poor communication, and disappearing acts when things go wrong. We promise to take accountability if any issues arise. While we are not perfect, we take integrity very seriously.
