SINOPSIS
Esta historia transcurre en el pie de monte amazónico del medio Putumayo, cuando EZEQUIAS un campesino de 66 años, aconsejado por un BRUJO de la región, decide hacer un pacto con EL DUENDE DE LA MARIMBA y así, alejar al DUENDE DE LA SELVA, quién lo ha perseguido desde su niñez. Casualmente EZEQUIAS conoce a FRANCISCO, un músico de 44 años, que sin saber de las intenciones que EZEQUIAS tiene, construirá la marimba para él.
Sin embargo no será tan fácil para FRANCISCO, ya que el DUENDE DE LA SELVA, utilizará su mente para evitar que dicho pacto se haga realidad.

SYNOPSIS
This story takes place at the foothills of the middle Putumayo, when EZEQUIAS a 66 years old peasant, advised by a wizard of the región decides to make a pact with The duende (elve) of the marimba to get away the duende (elve) of the Jungle who has persecuted him since his childhood. Casually EZEQUIAS meets Francisco, a 44 years old musician who without knowing EZEQUIAS intentions, will build the Marimba for him.
However it will not be so easy for Francisco, considerating that the duende (elve) of the Jungle will use his mind to avoid the pact becomes a reality.
INTENCIÓN DE LA HISTORIA
Este proyecto nace de la necesidad de rescatar la mística que se vive en las selvas del Putumayo, nuestra intención y mayor interés es crear una de las primeras trilogías de cortometrajes basadas en historias de duendes de diferentes regiones de Colombia, es por ello, que tenemos la intención de realizar este cortometraje que envuelve la música la tradición y el misterio de lo paranormal, ademas de mostrar una de las regiones mas lindas del país y poco exploradas cinematográficamente.
Llevamos mas de un año en trabajo de investigación para lograr contar una historia capaz de trascender de generación en generación sin dejar a un lado nuestra identidad,
En nuestra historia hay un elemento esencial conocido por su inigualable sonido que es la marimba un instrumento muy tradicional hecho mediante el árbol de chonta que se da en dos regiones del país, una es chocó y la otra es el Putumayo.

STOTY INTENTION
This proyect was born from the need to rescue the mystic life at the putumayo rainforest. our intention and greater interest is to produce one of the first trilogies of short films based on stories of different Colombian regions elves, therefore we have the intention to realize this shortfilm. Surrounded by the music, tradition and paranormal mystery as well as showing one of the most beautiful regions of the country and less cinemaographically explored.
We have spent more than a year in work research to achieve tell a story capable of transcending from generation to generation without leaving aside our identity. In our story the marimba is an essential element known for its incomparable sound. This traditional instrument it's made with the Chonta tree that grows in two regions of the country, Putumayo and Chocó.
¿POR QUE NECESITAMOS TU AYUDA?
Este proyecto viene encabezado por tres mujeres estudiantes de cine de la ciudad de Bogotá, es por esto que necesitamos la colaboración financiera y así lograr tener un rodaje en optimas condiciones, esto debido a que todo el staff técnico debe movilizarse desde Bogotá hasta Mocoa- Putumayo, a un tiempo de 12 horas aproximadamente, otras de las cosas que necesitamos urgentemente es poder tener en buenas condiciones los equipos debido a que la humedad de la selva tiende a dañar los equipos, y además de lograr pagarle a nuestros actores profesionales y extras de la región. Como nuestro cortometraje requiere de efectos especiales es necesario tener un buen presupuesto para la post - producción y asegurarnos que la calidad de la imagen no dañe nuestra historia.

¿WHY DO YOU NEED YOUR HELP?
This project is lead by four women film students from Bogota city, we are looking for financial collaboration to achieve a shoot in optimum conditions. All the technical staff must mobilize from Bogotá to Mocoa (Putumayo) aproximately 12 hours away. We need good conditions for the equipment because of the weather (the jungle humidity tends to damage the equipment). Your contribution will help also to the actors's salary, and the post production.
