Summary
The
Goulburn High School Robotics Team, consisting of Ashley Hind, Joe Muscarella,
Emmot Falconer, Will Hargan and Mitchell Webster, is seeking any form of
donations and/or sponsorship for their venture into robotics, and in particular
the endeavour to The World Championships held in Kentucky mid-April of next
year. The funding will be used for a variety of things, predominantly
consisting of the travel and accommodation for the team. The type of
sponsorship required is mainly financial, but if other forms of sponsorship are
offered they will be greatly appreciated and accepted.
The Challenge
The
competition consists of building and programming a robot that can achieve a
multitude of tasks. All designs and design modifications must be documented in
an engineering book. For more information about the challenge itself, visit http://www.vexrobotics.com/wiki/Skyrise and watch the video for greater insight.
