Our headphones are equipped with state-of-the-art technology. An ultra-broad frequency reach and the finest speaker driver give you the warm, deep and full sound experience you need to keep you going during a workout. We know an excellent bass beat is key during a run, bootcamp or heavy workout, so we partnered with top sound quality engineers to create the perfect sound. The D1 Switch is the best buddy for your bass-loving ears.
We included the last generation Bluetooth® 4.0 BlueCore® CSR 8645™ with aptX®. A Bluetooth® connection is a bit like a data pipeline between your device and the D1 Switch Headset. This pipeline has a maximum width, so it can sometimes be difficult to flow large audio files through it. The aptX® technology solves the problem by reducing the size of the audio files so they can be squeezed through the wireless pipeline, but without affecting the sound quality.
The perfect fit and 3 in-ear tips of the D1 Switch create passive noise cancelation. Sounds of traffic and voices will be reduced to a minimum, giving you an optimal balance of the best sound experience and awareness of what's going on around you.
Nothing kills a workout more than a low battery. The D1 Switch Headset offers up to 6 hours of non-stop music and audio coaching. Even during a marathon training run or a killer workout you will be accompanied by your favorite songs and audio coaching. The maximum talk time is 8 hours. When the battery is low, simply use the included Micro USB cable to charge the battery within 1-2 hours.

The D1 Switch Headset is extremely easy to operate. We've integrated two control panels. One to control the volume and a second one to forward or rewind songs. The headset automatically switches from music to call mode when someone is trying to reach you. Using the single touch control you can answer incoming phone calls without taking off your headphones. Meet the team
Tim, our founder and CEO quit his job in 2008 to pursue his dream: to create and sell innovative products with a stunning design and excellent performance. All our products share one feature that is the driving force behind everything we do: they are functional innovations.
A passion for Brazil inspired Tim to name the brand Avanca, derived from the Portuguese word ‘avançar’ which means ‘moving forward’. He asked Nathalie, our marketing director, to join him. They started from Tim's living room and moved to a 14 metre / 150 square feet office a couple of months later. In 2016, our team will pack moving boxes for the 5th time. Our company grows each day, but we strongly hold on to the spirit and vibe we had back then in that living room.
In the past 7 years we expanded our business to over 60 countries and successfully introduced dozens of products. These products aren't something we create on our own. Customer and blogger feedback and review panels have always been our focus.

In April 2016. Our goal is to ship all the Avanca D1 Switch headsets to contributors before Spring 2016, just in time for the running season.
What’s in the box?
Every Avanca D1 Switch headset comes with a Micro-USB charging cable for the rechargeable battery.
The package includes a carrying pouch to store your headset safe. The pouch is also easy to carry the Avanca D1 Switch with you anytime and anywhere you go. The Avanca D1 Switch headset comes with three sizes of in-ear tips, so you an make it fit exactly to your needs. And last but not least, you’ll find a variety of colored caps of your color-set choice in the box. See the perks to find out which color-sets are available.
Do I need to add shipping costs to my contribution?
We’ve automatically added shipping costs for shipping all over the world.
How about the warranty and support?
You’ll receive two years extended warranty on the Avanca D1 Switch headset.
Any plans for an upgraded version with more colors, or any stretch goals in mind?
Yes, definitely! Please keep an eye on your inbox, as we’ll send out surveys to know which color you think is missing, and we might produce it in the future.
What will the price be when the funding is over?
It depends on the perk you claim. The FULL version (with all 19 colors included) will have a future retail price of 239 dollars, so you get a stunning 90 dollar discount.

Yes, the Avanca D1 Switch Headset is all weather proof, you can use it when it’s raining without any problem. The IPx5 rating protects the headphones against rain and heavy sweating. Note the D1 Switch Headset is not waterproof, so unfortunately cannot be used for swimming or surfing.
