Awakening: The Series Teaser 

Greetings! My name is Sarah Goodwin and I'm the creator of Awakening: The Series. This series began as a project for my web series class (originally titled 'Haunted') in 2016 while I was attending NYCDA. I wanted to continue the story and really give this story the best chance at being told. I've worked extremely hard with a fantastic team behind me to finally have the pilot episode wrapped at the end of July of 2018. Currently the pilot is in post and I am making plans to continue with the rest of the first season.

I've always had a passion for film and within the last seven years I have taken many steps forward to improve my skills and bring my ideas to life. Even though I know the in and outs of filmmaking and I completed my first short film "Broken Home" in 2016 I am still a student working towards my film certificate. Since I had to work on my series alone during my web series class I learned how to do everything in front and behind the camera to complete four episodes which was the required assignment. I am currently the producer, writer, director and lead in the series along with many other hats that need to be filled when the time calls for it.
