Thank you for stopping by to view our pitch on Indiegogo. bar room babies is a dark comedic film short about a librarian who foils a date rape between two Arizona college students who go to a rural bar filled with colorful locals. It is a unique and compassionately compelling film about the growing acceptance of having sex without both partners consent. Now this film is not here to vilify the very act that makes life lovable, in fact the very opposite. We would like, (in our own weird and wonderful way,) to inspire you to approach your dreams and to find that freak that resonates with yours.
And we are close to finishing this little 'slice of humorously dysfunctional life', however we will need your help. I promise the funds will be used wisely and efficiently. We will finalize the coloring and even out our sound levels. The titles and our poster will need a graphic artist's touch to come out of my head onto screen. And it's essential to have funds for the clearance of our music. And if we could have a little left over for promotion, well that would be heaven in the edit bay.
I promise you it will be money well spent. We have already been asked to screen at the Sedona Film School festival, which is a great honor to be able to screen our sneak preview at the Mary Fisher Theater. So we have to be ready, and this is where you come in.
Who are we you ask? We are Karmichange Productions with an illustrious cast and crew of some amazing talent in front and behind the camera, from the US to Italy, from LA to AZ.
Michele Lamar Richards - Writer/Director - mostly known for portraying Whitney Houston's sister in Costner's Bodyguard, is a Dramalogue procuring, San Diego Film Festival Audience award winning producer, Artistic Director of Theatre in Paris, France; St.Croix, USVI and the USA. As well as being an optioned screenwriter, Equity composer/lyricist and documentarian; she is presently in development of Karmichange.TV - a truly alternative media station.
Kevin Arkadie – Producer - is a prolific writer and Emmy
award winning television producer.

Susan Leslie Green – Editor – holds her
Master’s in documentary film from Prescott College as well as filmmaking certificates from the Zaki Gordon Institute for Independent Film. She is a professional editor, producer,
director, cinematographer, actor and voice over artist on over 20 film
productions, both narrative and documentary. Awards include an Emmy for music
video and several honors in national film festivals.
Marko Malic - Lead Actor - A Cannes Film Festival nominee is mostly known for portraying awkward characters in lead roles such as Jr. Gang Lord, Hand-in-Hand and The Kolaborator. He also portrayed Johnny Depp in a memorial film short. He will soon be seen in the feature film Tesla's Sun, also penned by Ms. Richards.
