Neither One Of Us Is Wrong: A Visual Album 

Hello dear travelers, my name is Phoebe Hunt and I have been a recording and touring artist for the better part of 15 years.  I am bringing my new album to life in a new way, a visual way.

Whats the new album about?

• Neither One Of Us Is Wrong explores the theme of reconciliation within the duality we are currently facing. It’s time to find our place in the middle.  Although I come from a family of yogi’s that doesn’t mean that everything is singing bells and incense.  It means I was raised with a level of commitment to explore inner truth that is sometimes very uncomfortable.  
• The visual symbology of a music video can help us access our subconscious, allowing us to directly experience it.  

The Space In Between 

• Embedded in Neither One Of Us Is Wrong is a theme of reconciliation which threads through the space in-between right and wrong, black and white, red and blue.  This liminal space, or place which occupies a position on both sides of a boundary, is a space where transformation can occur.

MONEY TALK

• Each song costs me $2,000 to record.  My band and I recorded the 10 songs for Neither One Of Us Is Wrong at Grand Street Studios in Brooklyn, NY in Oct of 2017.  I have the mixes and masters in hand but still owe $5,000 toward the completion of the album.  The rest has been paid for through blood sweat and tears, including support from my patron Gatherers (THANK YOU!), funds from each gig I play, and synchronistic blessings that appear along my path.  
• It costs me $2,000 to bring a video to life.  8 videos have been filmed with an incredible team of artists.  There is a 9th video in the works, and we already have a video for the 10th song, Marching On (filmed on Martin Luther King Day by volunteers and creatives from within the Vice network and released in 2018 in conjunction with the March For Our Lives).  
• It costs me $4,000/month to hire the PR team necessary to bring the story of this album to life.  If I hire them for 4 months, that’s $16,000.  
• My goal is to raise $30,000 - $50,000+ to pay for the videos as well as the PR required to bring this message to life.  You with me?

PERKS

• Online Workshop, Beneath The Surface Of A Song.  This live webinar will be an interactive exploration into harnessing your creative energy. Throughout the fall exploration, we will harvest the energy of the season, preparing to deepen into winter, utilizing ancient Reiki Energy work techniques, yogic principals including satya (inner truth), and a wealth of other creative teachings.  You can choose to sign up for the Tuesday or Wednesday evening class, each of which are limited to 40 people for an intimate setting.

• Host a Gatherers Workshop.  We are currently booking Phoebe Hunt & The Gatherers 2020 tour!  Hop on our tour schedule now and we will offer an educational workshop in your community in addition to playing a private show for your closest friends or your favorite organization.  
• Swag.  There WILL BE plenty of opportunities for you to wear our t-shirt, raise your glass, and show off your support in the name of reconciliation.  Stay tuned as the reward section will expand and contract throughout the campaign...

IMPACT

Rather than standing my ground and pointing a finger, I would like to explore what would happen if there was no line at all, only a conversation.  A collection of moments where we make space to hear each other. A place where I take you in fully for all that you are, knowing that within me is everything that is within you.  

It is the visual representation of the space in between that we are exploring with the videos for Neither One Of Us Is Wrong.  I invite you to this exploration, the quest to discover the space between me and you. 

Art is a leap of faith...

You could look at this project and say, "Really?  Music videos? That’s what you're raising money for?"  To you, I say: "Yes. Art is one of the only mediums of communication that speaks to the subconscious mind, where actual change can occur.  It is a risk for me to be vulnerable and share with you the vision that is alive in me or to expect you to care about it or see its value in the world."  

I am overcoming this hurdle by connecting with as many people as I can who DO see the value in bringing a new form of art and social change into this world.
