Just a Guy Production - Beach Bounce!
Just a Guy Production is made by just one guy: me! This is not a big studio or even a small studio, it is just one solo developer with a passion for creating great video games. Beach Bounce is my first big project and I need some funding to get it off the ground:
- I am a solo developer with over 1 year of Unreal Engine experience, but 30 years of video game playing experience! I love video games and have been playing them since I was 2 years old. I've played all the classics: Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Sonic The Hedgehog, Star Fox, Pac-man, ActRaiser, Kings Field, GoldenEye 64, Crash Bandicoot, DOA: Dead or Alive, Mortal Kombat, Earthbound and my favorite game ever: Final Fantasy VII. I bring this life-long passion to my work in the gaming industry. Because of my mental disability I was homeless at the age of 17, but I pulled myself up, got a job and became the only person in my family to graduate college. I am slowly climbing the ladder to success and I am determined to become a rags-to-riches story that will inspire others that they can succeed with hard work and determination.
- Beach Bounce is my first big game project. I have released over 20 other games & mobile apps and gained plenty of experience. All of that experience taught me exactly what I need to succeed. For the first time I will be putting all my time, effort and money into a single game project: Beach Bounce!
- By donating you will help me create my first successful video game and put me on the path to my dream career as a game developer. This will not be the last game I make, I plan to create an entire video game company. I will bring back what players love about the classic games: unique gameplay, immersive story, epic soundtracks, classic split-screen multiplayer and NO LOOTBOXES! I promise to always have integrity as a game developer and focus on bringing a great experience to players over making a profit.
I Need An Advertising Campaign and You Get Credit For It
A mobile app cannot be successful without a paid advertising campaign, but as a donor you will be credited as the reason behind this game's success.:
- I need at least $1500 to reach a wide audience and build a successful app. I know it doesn't sound like much for an app, but remember I grew up homeless and I know exactly how to be frugal with my money. Nothing will go to waste.
- Every donor will have their name added to the credits page of the game. The credits page will be available immediately from the main menu of the game. Everyone will know that you helped this game become a smashing success!
- If I don't reach my goal, I can still stretch that money to drive as many installs as possible through advertising. As a person who grew up dirt poor I never waste my money and will always invest properly.
Your Donation Will Bring The Game To A Larger Audience
My advertising campaign will include not only Google Ads, but also social media influencers and blog writers:
- If you've been waiting for a passionate gamer to bring back the golden era of classic gaming, then this is your chance you help that passionate gamer. I want to build a successful video game company and that starts with making Beach Bounce a success.
- Even without any funding I have made several apps with over 1,000 downloads. Others might tell you it's impossible to generate 1,000 downloads with $0 funding, but I did it and you can see for yourself my game apps on Google Play: Knight Dash 2 and Epic Bounce both have over 1,000 downloads. I've done this through hard work by posting on social media and engaging the public.
- Follow my many social media profiles all under "justaguyproduction" where I post daily updates on Beach Bounce! As a contributor you will be mentioned in my posts.
Risks & Challenges
Every app faces the risk of fading into obscurity. There are over 1 million apps on Google Play with more added every day. The competition is fierce.
- I have proven my hard work ethic by overcoming my homelessness at the age of 17 and becoming the only person in my family to graduate college. I have released over 20 mobile apps on Google Play and I have fully dedicated myself to Beach Bounce becoming a success.
- Beach Bounce stands out from other apps because each level is unique. No 2 levels are the same and new levels are added on a regular basis. The game appeals to all audiences: it is easy to learn, tough to master and challenges both a player's reflexes and problem solving skills.
