Our Team

Annie Walker/Executive Producer - "Whether you have been to the Indianapolis 500 or not, everyone will enjoy seeing the historic event through the eyes of 1963 Indy 500 winner, Parnelli Jones." Sharing a peek behind the curtain of the Indy 500, the most amazing race on earth, is a special opportunity.  Annie has worked in Marketing and Sponsor Activation in IndyCar, and Nascar for over 25 years.  "The 500 is one of those events that everyone would love to know more about. We hope this film will give viewers a behind the scenes look, at a race so many of them have watched through the years with family and friends."

Travis Knox/Executive Producer - Travis graduated film school from Chapman University, and went on to produce feature films including as Executive Producer on "The Bucket List" with Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson, and Co-Producer on "Hairspray."  Although his time around racing has been short, he has come to know and love IndyCar, the Indianapolis 500, and the Jones family.  He hopes this project will lead to more "Behind the..." sporting events, shown through the eyes of other sporting legends.

Michael Walker/Executive Producer - Michael has always loved everything about racing. He grew up riding dirt bikes until he graduated to his first car, a '70 Plymouth Barracuda.  Through his job in marketing and sponsor activation, Michael has now been to countless IndyCar races and over a dozen Indy 500's, but as anyone who has ever been knows, the Indianapolis 500 is something everyone should go to at least once.  Knowing that it's not possible for everyone to go, he's really happy to be creating a documentary that shares with everyone what an amazing event it is, especially through the eyes of someone he believes to be a racing legend, Parnelli Jones.

The Story

"Behind the Indianapolis 500 With Parnelli Jones" isn't just for race fans - it's for  sports fans, history buffs, and anyone who remembers watching or listening to the 500 growing up - and it's for anyone who loves a great story!  The Indianapolis 500 is still the largest single-day sporting event in the world. Seeing it through the eyes of a legend - now that's a great ride!

Your support would mean so much to us.  We're telling a great story that's not just about the race - it's about an American tradition - and a young driver who would go on to become a racing legend.  In addition to all of his many accomplishments at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Parnelli won racing stock cars, Nascar, Off Road, Sprint Cars, and just about every discipline he drove.  From the Baja 500, to Pikes Peak Hill Climb, to the Indy 500, he won it all - and his groundbreaking leadership as an owner brought many firsts to Indianapolis.
