Personal Statement

For my senior year thesis I am creating a mini fashion collection that explores an escape from reality. Each look I have designed will become a character in this world to help drive the narrative. The film will have a surreal, dreamlike aesthetic, creating a visual experience that not only showcases the collection but also focuses on the emotional and thematic depth of the collection.

What We Need & What You Get

Danika is a senior at Parsons who has worked tirelessly on creating her thesis collection. We want to do her designs justice by creating a surreal film to display her hard work. We need to fund our location, equipment rentals, and keep our cast and crew fed! An open studio is essential to bring our vision to life and we would love to use as much production design as possible to provide an immersive experience.
