Take It to Hell and Back
At Big Ass, we build things to last. That’s why we built Light Bar to exceed the most demanding standards imaginable, using components that will endure corrosion, drops and years of daily use.
Light Bar is IP66 Rated to be insulated from dust and particulates, and is washdown-ready.
Chemically resistant components stand up to diesel, gasoline, lubricants, penetrants (PB B’laster) and everything in — and under — the kitchen sink
The overmolded battery, grip and end-piece absorb any blow, ensuring your light will always turn on when you need it.

Intelligently Designed
Whether it’s in your hand or on a tool bench, Light Bar is designed to stay put. Its octagonal shape is roll-resistant and keeps the light stable on any surface, and the overmolded handle provides maximum grip when you take your light on the go.

The Team:
Before joining Big Ass Solutions, Keith McKay spent seven years as an automotive technician. Existing handheld and area lights were a constant headache. They broke easily, used outdated technology and were either tethered to power cords or relied on underpowered batteries that produced a weak light.
When Keith started working at Big Ass, he realized that he could do better. He started researching on his own time, evaluating existing products and talking to American workers about what they wanted in a light. After six months, Keith enlisted the help of a small team of Big Ass Solutions' star engineers to create the brightest, toughest handheld light ever made. They brought the Big Ass Light Bar from concept to working prototype in just two years, often working through lunch and on weekends on this passion project.
What began as one man’s mission to build a light that gets the job done transformed into something more – a unique invention that sets a new quality standard for lighting technology.
