Dear Supporters,
This year marks the fourth year of my birthday fundraising event. Every year, with your incredible support, I’ve been able to help young adults who must leave their orphanage and step into independent life.
Our Goal
This year, one student is leaving the orphanage. We aim to raise ¥113,200 to cover their first two months of rent in Tochigi (¥100,000) and the necessary platform fees.
Why This Matters
In Japan, when children in orphanages turn 18, they lose government support and must start living on their own. Some don’t even have a home to return to. Moving out and becoming independent is a huge challenge, and financial support in the first few months can make a significant difference.
The Impact of Your Support
Two years ago, I met a girl who had aged out of the orphanage and received support through this fundraiser. She told me that with our donation, she bought a bicycle that allowed her to commute to college. Last year, she achieved her dream of becoming a kindergarten teacher.
That’s why I want to continue this project. Seeing the real impact of your support reassured me that the donations are truly helping these young adults start a better life.
I know this is a personal project, and I’m not asking anyone to donate unless they truly want to. But if you believe in this cause and want to support this year’s graduate, I would deeply appreciate your kindness.
Thank you for always being here. Your generosity changes lives.
Warm regards,
Saki
