Good movies can be made even outside Hollywood and the big studios
systems. There are great indies like “Mad Max”, “Memento”, “The Usual
suspects”, “Reservoir dogs” and many more. They won the love of the fans, as
well as the critics. We call these movies classics.
What we want to do is just that. Not a classic, but a great indie film. And we
have almost all of the necessary ingredients: we have a crew of experienced
professionals with solid background in movie industry, we have a pretty good
script, we’ve approached great actors. Everyone of us is fanatically devoted to the
project and has the guts to rush into this crazy adventure, called independent
moviemaking, perfectly aware of all the milestones ahead.
So, let us pitch you the project:
Black Files is an action-thriller movie about conspiracy, terrorism and about tough
characters, forced to make tough decisions. It’s inspired by various conspiracy
theories and controversial statements such as the origins of Islamic State, the
protection of human trafficking channels, the secret plot of the government
for world domination, etc. Black Files explores serious topics and we think that it’s an exciting,
interesting and important story to tell.

What we still don’t have is your love, guys. Love of the fans. The most
significant part in moviemaking. Because we, the fans, define classics, not the
critics, not even the filmmakers. We want to earn that love. We ask you to take
that leap of faith with us and we won’t disappoint you. Believe in “Black Files”
and support our campaign. Contribute and be part of movie history. Be part of a
dream.
Hey guys, stay tuned for the upcoming super cool perks:

OFFICIAL POSTER

Making movies is our way of life. We are familiar with the filmmaking
process and the movie market, but we believe that our most efficient weapons
are creativity and persistence.
Here is the core of our team:
![]()
David has over 40 roles in his acting carrier, including the popular TV
shows “Baywatch” and “Witchblade”. He is so passionate about Black Files, that
he already walks talks and fist fights like his character in the film.
![]()
Sully is the biggest fan of Black Files. We are so excited to have him in the
project, because we are his biggest fans since the first album of Godsmack. And now he
is a part of our team. And he'll star in the movie! How great is that!
![]()
Luiza is the most beautiful and talented member in our team. She has plenty of roles on stage and
on screen. Great actress, who dug deep into her characters. She is our
inspiration and we love her. She had us at hello.
![]()
Martin is the main
engine of Black Files. He directed our previous movie Roseville and a number of
episodes for the most popular TV series in Bulgaria. He loves junk food, video
games and the combination of them.
The
force is strong with him.
![]()
To be an indie producer is a tough challenge. Alex has an eye for good
projects and he is ready to smash walls with his bare hands to see this
projects greenlighted. Black Files is his current project… And cause. If it bleeds, he can kill it.
![]()
Bobby writes for TV series and for the big screen. He also writes for
fun. Basically he writes more than he talks. He is the man in the dark room. If
the door is closed – he writes. Maybe he writes even now, while you are reading this.
![]()
Nick is young, but experienced editor who has a couple of features and TV
episodes in his portfolio. He is not proud with all of them, but that’s life. Now he's completely devoted to Black Files movie and has already cut it in his head.
![]()
A few years ago when we released our previous film, a guy wrote on the
FB page: “I liked the movie, but your poster sucks”. We answer: “Can you make a
better one?” He did. Now this guy is a part of our team.
Our previous project:

After the theatrical release "Roseville" received good reviews and won the prize for The Best European independent
film from ECU film festival in Paris, France. But the biggest value we got was
the huge experience of making and producing it.
We gathered an army of professionals with solid background in movie industry.
People who worked for big Hollywood hits made outside America like “The Expendables”,
“300:Rise of an Empire”, “Conan” and many more. These people are devoted to us
and to our project. They believe that Black Files deserves to be on the big
screen.
![]()
Producing an indie movie
has one big advantage – you have full control of the project. But also has one
major weakness – no one pays you to do it. So the first step is to find
investors ready to finance the fundamental phases of the filmmaking process: development, pre-production, production, post-production and distribution.
We've been developing Black Files
project for the past two years and besides the time and passion - we've already
invested about 200 000$. Here is what we’ve done so far:
![]()
It’s very important for us
to keep the creative control of Black Files. That’s why we need you, guys. We
want to make this movie for you – the fans. And we hope that Black Files will
attract a lot of fans, but to do so it needs to be good movie with high
production quality and engaging storytelling.
So, here’s the deal. Our goal is 1 900 000$. About
25% goes for perks production, payment fees and Indiegogo fee. With the rest of the money we
will secure the Black Files budget and this is the bare minimum for the movie
to be done. 1.9M$ is a lot of money, we know it. It’s scary even when you
look at the number. But think of it in terms of moviemaking - 1.9M$ it’s just a
little snap from the budget of big Hollywood hits. Maybe the food catering cost
for “The Avengers” is twice that sum.
![]()
Every contributed dollar
will be spend for increasing the quality of the movie in terms of better
preparation, more production value scenes and most importantly – more shooting
days. We are planning to start the pre-production by the end of March 2016 and to
shoot it in May 2016. The shooting will take place in Bulgaria for
couple of reasons: first of all the plot of the movie takes place in the same country and second - Bulgaria is called “the little Hollywood”. There are great
locations, studios and stages, but most importantly - it's way cheaper than the
States. A lot of production companies pointed their eyes at Bulgaria.
Movies shot
in Bulgaria - "The Expendables", "300: Rise of an empire", "Conan" and many more.
We believe crowdfunding is the only
way to secure our creative freedom. With your help we can make a movie that we
all want to watch, without the bigshot-investors, whose first question is “How
much money will I make?” and not “What’s the movie about?”. Because our main
goal is to make a high-quality entertainment for the audience. We believe that
movies must be made for the audience.
Contribute as much as you
can. Every dollar can make the difference. Choose one (or more) of our perks. We have
some great stuff. You can check it in the section below. If you can’t afford to
contribute, you can spread the word. Tell your friends about Black Files. Promote
the campaign.
Contribute or not, either
way we thank you for supporting our campaign!

First of all, guys – THERE ARE NO RISKS FOR YOU. All of
this shit is on us and that’s the way it should be. You can only win from this
campaign.
In every enterprise there are risks and challenges, but we like the
sentence – “Who doesn’t risk, risks the most.” Our goal is 1 900 000$
and like we said before, this is the bear minimum budget for the movie to be
done, like we want it to be done. A single dollar below that sum is already a
risk for us. Let’s say we reach only 70% of the goal. In this case we must reconsider the
script, cut some of the big action scenes and seek support from investors and
other funding resources. This will
take more time, but we won't stop until the movie is done and you will
receive all of the purchased perks.
Let’s discus a darker scenario – we reach 35 or 40% of the campaign
goal. In this case we will not be able to make the movie :(... BUT… We can make a
kick-ass pilot for mini-series and than with this pilot and your fan-support, we will
pitch the project to the major broadcasting networks. And, of course, you will still get your
perks.
Now the most painful part – under 35% of the goal and we enter the
filmmaker’s inferno. It will be like a knockdown for us, but still not the end of the
game. In the words of Rocky Balboa – “It
ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep
moving forward.” We’ll continue our mission to try funding Black Files
movie. All of the Indiegogo money will be used for producing and shipping the already
purchased perks.
For more detailed information about the inferno case visit our
FAQ section.
