Short Summary
My name is Andrea Gibson and I served as a combat medic in the U.S. Army. This campaign was established to raise funds for our short film Black Sheep based on my feature screenplay. It is an action packed, empowering story about a veteran with PTSD and how he overcomes it. It exemplifies how those dealing with PTSD can overcome the hardships it can create. All of our contributors will help bring this powerful story to life.
What We Need & What You Get
20% of all funds raised will go to charities which help veterans, service members, first responders, and their families. The other 80% of funds will go directly to bringing this film to life. This film will make a difference to audiences everywhere with its powerful message as well as entertain with action packed sequences and dynamic relationships. We are trying to raise $10,000 so we can help charities and make this film happen. If we do not reach our entire goal, 20% will still go to charity and we will film as much as we can with funds available and continue working until the project is complete. We will never quit. This project will help others and bring awareness to an issue which is very personal to me and an issue which many people are dealing with everyday.

Risks & Challenges
As with any endeavor, funding is always the hardest to accomplish and that's why we're asking for help. We believe so so much in what this film conveys and and message it brings. PTSD is a problem everywhere but especially with veterans. This story brings out that message in a way that will spread the word to the world that there are ways to help those that need it. It's also why 20% of all funds we raise will go to those charities that specialize in helping veterans, first responders and their families.
