Fuad Ramses and his family have moved from the United States to France, where they run an American diner. Since business is not going too well, Fuad also works night shifts in a museum of ancient Egyptian culture. During these long, lonely nights he is repeatedly drawn to a statue representing the seductive ancient goddess ISHTAR. He becomes more and more allured by the goddess as she speaks to him in visions. Eventually he succumbs to her deadly charms. After this pivotal night, Fuad begins a new life, in which murder and cannibalism become his daily bread. He starts to prepare a ritual
FEAST to honor his new mistress, a lavish affair dripping with
BLOOD, organs, and intestines of human victims. As butchered bodies are heaped upon the Altar of Ishtar, Fuad slowly slips further into madness, until he is no more than the goddess’s puppet; and she thirsts for the blood of Fuad’s wife and daughter too...

“This project makes one of my longest dreams come true. The Original one changed my whole life. To realize the remake of the cult movie BLOOD FEAST feels like winning the lottery to me."
Meet
Marcel Walz, the German master of gore on film. His career started at the tender age of 17 with his shoestring budget productions leading him to film school at MFA Film Academy, Spain. It was shortly thereafter he made a connection with his first producer who gave him the opportunity to bring several projects to life. Making the most of meager budgets these movies attracted attention. In 2009 his independent film "La Petite Mort" was an international breakthrough with the spotlight focused on this Torture Porn title. In the last few years he has continued to direct horror movies with increasing budgets reaching 50K€. While establishing his own production company, Matador Film, he has had the opportunity to work with talent from across the globe.
This brings us to present day, Gundo Entertainment have brought him to the dinner table of the
BLOOD FEAST as head of the table, sitting in the director's chair. With their help and yours
BLOOD FEAST will be the next step in establishing a new chapter in splatter cinema.
"There will be no CGI blood! All the effects will be bloody and handmade! BLOOD FEAST is gonna be a dirty remake and the story will be more closely examined. The fans can look forward to a hardand bloody piece of film!"
With this bold statement Walz returns to a blood churning pact forged with
Ryan Nicholson. The two previously earned cinematic battle scars working together on "La Petite Mort II". Watch a snippet before learning more about out practical effects wielding maniac.
Ryan loves horror movies, plain and simple. We are dripping with excitement to have his award-winning make-up effect talents on board to bring the practical FX gore to
BLOOD FEAST.
“I make ‘more is more’ horror. I’m not of the school of thought that showing something off-screen is more effective than showing it on-screen. I like to show everything. I leave nothing to the imagination.”
Ryan Nicholson is one of the best known special effects make-up artists in the business. Hailing from British Columbia, in the Great Fright North, he started as a self-taught artist who worked in the departments of numerous television shows from "The X-Files" to "The Outer Limits" via "Stargate" though "Andromeda". His work on the later earned him a triple "Best Achievement In Make-Up" Gemini award nomination (The Canadian Emmy) and a triumphant win. On the big screen you would have seen his work in various different modes: Funny ("Scary Movie"), Brutally Inventive ("Final Destination"), Thunder Juggling ("Blade:Trinity") & Furiously Fantastic ("The Chronicles of Riddick"). Check out his
IMDb page to witness a kill list as long as a line of severed outstretched arms.
Thank you Ryan for joining
BLOOD FEAST, and here's to making the feast VERY bloody.
Finally we hope our version makes your mouth fall open (upon this happening we can't guarantee we won't snatch your tongue)
