Ironstar films, an independent film company based on the east coast of Scotland created by four local lads in order to produce a variety of short films from original scripts, We have an amazing passion for film and wish to show this through our own unique projects.

Bloodloss is going to be our first self produced short film for festival consideration, to provide the highest quality viewing experience, We hope, with your help to raise the funds we need to produce our short. Please check out our trailer for our idea to see what we can do.

What We Need & What You Get

We have already contributed our own money towards making the short a succes  but we hope to raise a further £1500. All funds will go toward to the making of the film. This will include the following.

Experienced and talented cast and Make-up artist,  specialist props, high quality sound effects and music, catering, festival fees.

Any and all funds raised will be allocated appropiately to ensure maximum quality is seen on screen.

The Impact

Promote Scottish independent film making locally, national and internationally through various film festivals world-wide.

We hope to showcase existing and upcoming Scottish talent across fields such as Directing, writing, acting and various other roles within the industry.

Although this our first venture in to serious film making the team has developed a wide range of skills over the years across a variety of  multimedia projects.

Risks & Challenges

Although this is our first short we look foward to adapting and futhering our skills to overcome any challenges that we might face, throughout the production of Bloodloss.
