What problem do we solve?
Loss of blood – is one of the most common causes of death during combat. It is not known how many Ukrainian military personnel died because of blood loss. Global statistics show that between 35% and 55% of military losses happen for this reason. In order to reduce this potential loss of soldiers, volunteers have been delivering advanced hemostatic agents throughout the war, and they have proven to be worth their weight in gold.
However, this is only a temporary solution. Hemostatics, if available at positions, stop the bleeding and helps rescue the wounded, but we must do more to, at least, offset the massive blood loss. Blood is often the only chance to "delay time" and give physicians the opportunity to rescue the wounded. In such cases, the military paramedics try as soon as possible evacuate a victim to a place where he can take a transfusion.
But this does not always happen quickly enough. The opportunity is not always for the benefit of the wounded.
Thanks to the project "Bloodmobile," blood is transfused when it is needed, and not when it becomes possible.
How does it work?
Bloodmobiles are equipped with special materials that allow the blood to be transported at temperature conditions that are set from -2 to -6 °C for masses of erythrocytes and -40 °C for plasma.
If the temperature regime is not maintained, the blood will become unsuitable for transfusion.
Step by step:
- We receive real-time applications from medical institutions on the front line that they need blood, plasma, equipment or medical personnel.
- We drive to the address. On the way, we defrost the plasma in order to start the transfusion on the spot and avoid time loss.
- While we go to the hospital, we are transfusing blood. To save a life, transfusion should be done in the first "golden" hour after the injury. The golden hour - in intensive medical care - is the length of time after the injury, which allows the most effective first aid.
The principle of the "Bloodmobile" is to deliver blood to a patient in order to provide pre-hospital care in the first hour after receiving an injury. This unique method allows increasing the chances for the human life preservation.
What has already been done?
Thanks to volunteers, our partners, and commercial organizations, we raised money for the first "Bloodmobile." It was launched within the confines of the "Emergency Medicine" to deliver medicines, equipment, and blood components to the Eastern part of Ukraine and other hospitals of the frontline zone.

What equipment needs to be bought?
One car is not enough for timely service across the front line. Our aim is to collect money to purchase a vehicle that meets all technical requirements, and improvement in its role as mobile blood transfusion station.
Ideally, such vehicles for transportation of blood must function along the front line constantly.

After the purchase the Bloodmobile will be equipped and made ready to perform tasks where it is needed, we also plan to raise money for fuel for the vehicle and its maintenance.
The transport of medical supplies, such as blood and its components, has great potential in civilian terms, and must also be used at the bases of air ambulance to carry out the transportation of blood supplies in situations where there is a need to provide medical assistance to victims (in disaster medicine, such as man-made emergencies and natural disasters).
Our goal!
We want to save as many lives as possible due to transfusion of blood in time.
We hope that in the future each medical center or hospital will have its own "Bloodmobile." After all, blood is needed not only for soldiers in hot spots, but also for people who suffer from road accidents, natural disasters, and other accidents.
How can you support us?
Now, we are doing our best to raise money for one Bloodmobiles.
You can help us! Our partner, also volunteer, will provide all the perks which we will use as an expression of our gratitude.
He owns an amazing family-owned farm with goats, where he produces goat's milk cheese (organic and gentle).

A word from the farmer.
"I own several dozens of goats on the farm. These goats live on organic soil, which has undergone a certification Organic Standard"(Switzerland).
Goats give organic milk which enriches the cheese with a unique taste.
We try to help good people, so we support the project "Bloodmobile" and give each philanthropist a piece of real happiness"
Best Regards,
Anton Dundiy
