Who Are You/ What is Blue Core Studios?
Blue Core Studios is a new production company servicing the tri-state, New York City area. We specialize in all matters of production such as independent films, commercials, music videos, and web videos. BCS is made up of many people who truly love what they do and want to bring BCS to an unheard of level. We want to produce Hollywood quality content for the masses without the Hollywood politics and rules.
BCS has received much notice and praise from the many viral videos we have released, such as the 2010 feature fan film "MegaMan" which has received 525,000 views in its first year). BCS is currently finishing many other high-profile web videos such as a 25 minute live action "Sonic the Hedgehog" fan short featuring the voice of actor Jaleel White. "Sonic," thus far, has exceed "MegaMan" in terms of notice and press.

What are your goals with BCS?
Our goal is to expand and become a truly independent film studio. We want to serve the talents and artists out there looking for a chance to shine while also giving people free web entertainment in addition to creating shorts and features that will rival any Hollywood studio.
We want to provide work and opportunities to talent who deserve a chance. We want to give the best alternative to film producers who are looking for quality results without the Hollywood prices (and restrictions). Our love of film making and film production is our primary driving force in creating the ultimate independent film company: Blue Core Studios.
Why are you trying to raise money?
The production company originally operated on our own money and after some time, we now have some income that allows us to do certain things but, alas, not enough to grow in the way we want. It's a given that it takes a certain amount of money to grow into such an entity. That's where you come in. We want to provide more free content and more opportunities to other film makers but we need your help.
Our love for film making is just more about us. It's about you and how much you enjoy what we make. The content we make is not just made by us within Blue Core but by you. We have used the community feedback that was given to us during production on both "MegaMan" and "Sonic" to make them better. "MegaMan" benefited from the community getting involved and, with Sonic, we hope to do one better.
After that, we want to take community involvement to the next level with ideas such as "The Con," an original film (a working title) where you can be directly involved in production. "The Con" will be a feature film shot at a convention with actual convention goers and some actors. Projects such as this can only succeed with your help.
Your donations will help us become a self sustaining film company so we can continue to make the films you all love.
What does the money go towards?
All funds will go towards making everything above a reality:
-Equipment purchases so we can increase our production value.
-Cover expenses that allow us to do more free web content.
-Create more film jobs for those looking for a break and hands-on experiences.
And the ultimate goal:
A fully functional studio located in NYC. This fundraiser is only a jumpstart for BCS. A functioning studio will allow us to take on more jobs and clients so we can will have the continuous financing to create the free content that you, the audience, want to see.
