"Cinema is truth at twenty-four frames a second." - JLG
Watch the trailer. This is a film. This is art. This is something that no one has ever done in cinema before. We are destroying restrictions and going beyond the limitations bestowed on film. We are jumping into reality cinema. No, not reality TV, which is scripted and fraudulent. No, not documentary. But reality. This is a ride. A trip. Reality with a twist.
In an age of obfuscation and lies, it is hard to discover truth in reality. Did Osama Bin Laden take down the twin towers? Are they really doing this all for us? And are you really lovin' it? Do prescription and non-prescription drugs help the societal ADD and ADHD? What is really happening here? Should we know? Do we want to know? And are you real, or just playing a "part" in this life that has become a reflection of what you see on your computer screen.
The FILM

Nick Mancuso is an actor who has been in hundreds of Hollywood productions throughout the decades. Distraught with life, he is on the path to suicide.
Lazar Rockwood, also an actor, has borrowed money from a Serbian fan, promising that he will use his connections to put him in a film. Not delivering, the Serbians are out to get what Lazar promised.
Born Dead goes into detail about life, love, career, morality, and the state of nature we are all a part of. Philosophy, art, love, tyranny of existence, and the reason of being. The story is written by itself, just like the story of life is written by none other than the Man upstairs. This is the true nature of a career in Hollywood and life in the streets of Toronto.
What Will this Achieve?
A look into the true nature of life, of film, of everything we stand for, while achieving a truth that has never been established. A man who has his mind made up. A man who is going to kill himself, accompanied by a friend who is pursued by Serbians that want to build their fame through unethical measures.
The film is almost fully complete. All it needs is post-production sound work, and marketing. And that's where the donations will save us. This will be shown at Film Festivals and online.
The people in this are real. The story is real. The strangers, the freaks, the outcasts, the demons, the junkies, lovers, haters, and the ignored are all here in their raw form. Do not judge them, for they are here around us at all times. And as much as we walk by them, wishing they would not touch or effect our nice little lives, they are part of our society. And it is our duty as faithful citizens of our planet to take a listen - to take a look.
If you're low on cash, we understand, because so are we. Then at least help spread the word. I don't got nothin' but love for ya.
