THE CHRISTMAS ODYSSEY CONTINUES!
Last Fall, the first issue of BRIC-A-BRAC successfully funded on Indiegogo.
We met our main characters Garret and Marie as they embarked on their journey to find Father Christmas and save Planet Christmas from impending doom. That doom, almost single-handedly, was brought by General Almond and his army of Nutcrackers who were determined to take over the Planet and steal its resources.
Issue Two continues this epic story while adding more characters and obstacles! You will meet new characters like the ominous Jack Frost, the evil Caesar Dimitrius, and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future among others!
Issue Two will be a 28-page comic book written by Ryan Haack, featuring interior art by Rafael Sam. The comic book will also include a five-page back-up story with art by Tom Barton and Milton Aguiar. ![]()

THE CREATORS
WRITER/CREATOR - RYAN HAACK
My name is RYAN HAACK and I'm the creator and writer of BRIC-A-BRAC! Since I was a little kid, I was fascinated by Christmas and all the lore surrounding it! I loved the imagery, the decorations, the holiday specials, and I still do to this day! BRIC-A-BRAC is my attempt at creating a story that can show adults and children how valuable and important Christmas is as a concept! It's an incredibly useful holiday with ideals and values which we can implement every single day of our lives! I am so passionate about this story and had an absolute BLAST writing in the dramatic, fun, and always exciting world that is BRIC-A-BRAC! I am the host of the FAR-FETCHED STORYTELLING PODCAST and the creator of the web-comic the UNSPEAKABLE TEXT, too!

THE LOGISTICS
As mentioned before, this will be a 24 page comic book. It will be identical in design to the last comic we produced for BRIC-A-BRAC #1. Because they are so similar, it was very easy for me to calculate shipping costs and how much I will need to deliver the best product possible. Here's some breakdowns for those interested:
PRODUCTION OF COMIC (ART/LETTERING) : $3,400
PRINTING (ISSUE 2 and REPRINTS of ISSUE 1): $600
SHIPPING (NATION-WIDE AND INTERNATIONAL) : $1,000
EXTRA FEES (KICKSTARTER FEES) :$200
SHIPPING
This book will not be completed before Christmas, although we presently have about 20% of it done. My goal is to have it in your hands by January or February, which was the same time the books were in the backers hands with BRIC-A-BRAC #1. The digital copy of BRIC-A-BRAC #1, the back-up story THE TRAGEDY OF JACK FROST, and whatever we have completed of BRIC-A-BRAC #2 will be sent to you once the campaign closes, so you can enjoy it with your family!
If the physical copy being delivered before Christmas is a deal-breaker for you, we want you to know that this story is about the idea of Christmas--not the holiday. On Planet Christmas, Christmas is every single day. It's about implementing Christmas cheer into each of our lives everyday, for a better tomorrow!
PLEASE HELP US MAKE THIS COMIC BOOK A REALITY!
