WHO AM I?

ZOMBIE LOVER!

   My name is Jermaine Nix, I've been an indie filmmaker for over 10 + years in North Carolina. I have worked with some amazing people, a fantastic talent and have an awesome team!! I enjoy bringing a new story to the screen, my passion is horror, showing the world what type of talent we have as a strong film team! I have made few short films with friends and family members, I'm strong with keeping respect, professionally and safety on and off my sets! I want everyone to feel safe and welcomed to set! Filming is supposed to be professional, but we also having fun on set. Laughing and making wonderful memories! 

We are looking to raise funds to finish filming a brand new zombie film right here in North Carolina.  We are bring bigger and wild sets to this film! 

If you help us funds the film, it will open jobs here in NC as well. Getting actors on the spotlight and helping crew members get other jobs as well. Showing their amazing talent and skills!

We started filming with no budget with few scenes, but then we did more writing and realized we will need to raise funds for the rest of the film. We will be starting off raising up to $5,500 that will help crew & cast with lodging, traveling, catering etc. It's not easy traveling to sets and working on a set for almost 12 hours a day and trying to find a hotel. If we can help the crew and cast with lodging and traveling it will be less stressful on everyone. Also if we reach beyond our goal the funds will go towards better film equipment (rentals) and other needs on set. All funds will go straight into production. If we raise more funds we will extend the goal to $10,000 that will help with better film equipment, permits, makeup department, wardrobe and studio space rentals.  

We will have some amazing perks, like being invited to the premiere, autographed T shirts, posters and invited to be on set with us etc! 

Making History! 

• I believe everyone has a story to tell, we all have a talent to discover, I believe this film will open eyes to the public that is takes a team to make something wonderful. 
• Success is the goal for all films we do, Our film Dark Trepidation which is a short thriller film won over 21+ laurels and 3 were international awards. We plan to bring a new look of zombies to the screen. 
• The impact of time and cost putting together a film can be stressful, but again our team is amazing with all they do, from the personal assistants to directors everyone is treated with the same respect. We are all a family on and offset. 

Challenges?!

Everyday we face challenges in our daily lives and sometimes we have to look forward to the best, so we keep pushing & working hard everyday to make those challenges into award winning memoirs! We also want to thank you again for donating your time into this film, without supporters like you, we won't be able to make this possible! 

Time is never our friend so we can have some long days on set, we want to make sure everyone gets rest, food and time to recover from 12 hour days being on set. Again safety is a huge thing on our sets, so we don't want people to get restless while filming or drive home after filming. So the funds will go towards lodging for those that drove a good distance to be part of this film.

This is our funds breakdown if we reach our goal of $5,500. All funds will go straight into the productions needs. Few of the funds will help with the indiegogo fees! Lodging is very important for our cast and crew to have a safe and comfortable place to stay and rest. Travel is helping everyone get to set safe and traveling (On local / Lodging (Transportation) during on and off set. We would love to have catering to be able to eat, stay hydrated and fueled up to rock and roll on set. Some of the funds will help go towards a few perks such as, Autographed T shirts, posters etc! We hope to grow more with the community during this production as well.
