1. How does bruno work?
bruno is activated by a series of light and motion sensors and delivers dirt and debris directly into the trash bag through a network of integrated vacuum tubes.
2. Where does the dirt go?
Using its built-in filtration system, bruno suctions up the dirt from the floor directly into the trash bag. The purpose of the filter is to prevent dirt entering the motor, and it is easy to remove and clean with a simple rinse under the faucet.
There is no need to empty anything except the trash on trash day!
3. Does bruno have to be plugged-in to operate?
No. bruno and brunoSMART have a rechargeable 18-V battery that will supply approximately 30 days of suction before needing to be recharged. The retractable re-charging cord is accessed from the top of the appliance, in a secondary compartment.
4. Is the battery replaceable?
Yes and it is easily accessible from the bottom of the appliance.
5. Does bruno come with a cord for recharging?
The retractable charging cord can be accessed under the secondary door located on the topside secondary compartment of bruno.
6. Is there an app? Is it free? What controls and features are available through the app?
The bruno App is free. Through the app, you can set alerts and reminders - from trash day notifications to low bag refill counts. You can even reorder trash bags through the app at the touch of a button AND for the same cost as the grocery store! $19.95 - and this includes the cost of shipping!
7. What colors are available for the bruno?
bruno and brunoSMART are available in Arctic White, Slate Grey, Harbor Blue, Urban Red and Stainless.
brunoMAX is available Grey.
8. How big is bruno?
Weighing in at 17lbs, bruno and brunoSMART measure at 12.25” x 12.25” x 29.5”
brunoMAX is 23 lbs. 19.5” x 24” x 32".
9. What specific size trash bags fit into bruno?
bruno is optimized for use with 13-gallon tall bags (the standard size).
10. What materials is bruno made out of?
bruno and brunoSMART are constructed with ABS bodies and a motion-sensing lid (brunoSMART's lid is stainless steel).
brunoMAX is made out of heavy-duty seamless polyresin.
11. Is bruno water-resistant?
Yes!
12. Does bruno have any certifications?
Yes, bruno is both UL-certified and CE-certified for safety and operational quality.
13. Is the vacuum feature child-proof or child-safe?
Yes, bruno is child and pet-proof and cannot be accidentally activated.
14. What's the difference between bruno, brunoSMART and brunoMax?
All three come with the vacuum integration feature. brunoSMART is app-supported and connects to your mobile via Wi-Fi. The App features reminders, alerts and bag reorder capabilities. brunoMAX is geared for more industrial and commercial use.
15. Does bruno have a warranty?
Yes, bruno comes with a standard one year warranty for normal wear and tear. Parts and labor included. Extended warranties will also be available for purchase throughout the campaign - we build the bruno to last!
16. Who is the shipping provider for bruno?
We will be using several providers:
- USPS for USA and Canada
- UPS and DHL for international
17. When will I get my bruno?
bruno and brunoSMART will arrive November 2015. brunoMAX is scheduled for July 2016.
18. How much is international shipping?
International shipping varies by country and is mentioned in each perk description. You must manually add this on to your perk at check-out, otherwise we will post a reminder before the end of the campaign.
