Buddy Basketball is a basketball league where high school athletes coach special needs kids.  The goal of the program is to teach special needs kids social, motor, and teamwork skills.  The league has been in place for over a year, and they have had over 20 players and 35 high school athletes participate.  One thing Buddy Basketball prides themselves on is that they never turn anyone down, and the way they do this is by providing scholarships.  Last year they raised over $600, but this year they plan on expanding their program and giving more scholarships.
