Can you imagine what it would be like to go from your life right now to suddenly living underground 24/7 with four strangers in a tiny bunker; and anytime you stick your head outside there are 6 billion zombies trying to eat you? And then try to think of all the ways you might entertain yourself so you don’t go crazy.
That’s the crux of Bunkheads. We wanted to take the characters and situations you find in a sitcom and place them into a world they've never been before. Over the course of a season, we pit these diverse goofballs against each other in ways that resonate in today’s America and ultimately help them forge a new kind of family.
Bunkheads is more than just a web series; it’s an opportunity to join our gang of merry pranksters and watch a show that we can laugh at together, despite all the chaos in the world. Feels appropriate, right?
It's also an opportunity to support the filmmakers + cast, and help us showcase the kind of original work we can create after years and years of honing our crafts.
And it's not just us who think so! The online video news site Tubefilter recommended Bunkheads as their Fund This of the week:

"All signs point to this project being a polished an enjoyable one, full of relatable characters who have been shoved into an unusual setting. Bunkheads has all the makings of a quality web series..."

Episode 1 - "This is the Place”
On their one-year anniversary of living together, the Bunkheads debate whether or not their situation is sustainable and if it’s better to risk their lives topside with the zombies still ravaging the Earth. As they debate, we learn more about them, how they came together, and discover who created the bunker in the first place.
Episode 2 - “Touch of My Hand”
A bit fed up with the boys and seeing an opportunity, Dani persuades the guys to leave the bunker so that she can have some “quality” time to herself. Out in the woods, Matt tries to keep the peace while Kip and Cash argue over who Dani is most attracted to.
Episode 3 - “Let Me Clear My Throat!”
Kip's never ending “Cold War” against Cash transforms into a full-blown conflict during the first “Bunkheads Presidential Debate.” It forces Cash into revealing some long-held secrets to the gang and everything comes to a head when a vote is taken to kick out one of the bunkmates!
Episode 4 - “Who’s That Girl?”
Out in the real world, Kip discovers an attractive stranger, Blair, and brings her back to the bunker. The delicate equilibrium of their group dynamic is thrown out of whack and the Bunkheads have to decide whether to permanently invite Blair into their gang.
Episode 5 - "Dreams"
Riding the coattails of the Sandman, we step inside each of the Bunkheads' minds for an episode that takes place entirely in sleep. Inside their dreams, we meet new characters, learn new secrets, and finally experience the full, majestic, and uncontainable glory of Kip’s first rap performance.
Episode 6 - “All My Friends”
After two years of holding everyone together, Matt has a nervous breakdown. Kip, Cash, and Dani come together to try bring Matt back through the kind of zany skits that he loves to put on. Despite their best efforts, nothing seems to get through to him - that is, until Kip comes up with one last brilliant idea.

Unlike a novel or a painting where one person can create art with some basic tools (and a whole lot of magic), making a film or a web series requires a whole mess of people. We already have an army of friends donating their time and equipment but, to create something truly special, we are going to need money.
We need cameras, equipment, food, and most importantly we need a bunker! It’s not like we can just borrow one or head over to our local mall and find a “Build-A-Bunker Workshop.” Nope! From the fake walls to furniture, we are going to have to build a bunker from scratch and rent a space to put it in.
Not only that, but we are creating a 6-episode season. Although any one episode can be funny, what makes TV special is the progression of story and characters over time and the way we let them into our lives.

This one's for you guys and for us. It’s for the fans of slowpoke zombies and absurdist comedies. It’s for the scrappy little guys and the softhearted giants.
This isn't meant to be a big-budget, star-driven kind of show where the back-end profits dictate the front-end decisions. This is meant to be real, to be honest, and to be grassroots.
We are Bunkheads and we invite you all to join and share in the fun!
