My name is Stephen Young and my wife is Karen. We work in a wholesale bakery called Global Specialty Products, Inc.We make some sweet stuff there.

In 2012 we decided to go to the Mathare Valley in Kenya to help feed families and kids. We got to work on the first water supply plant in this area.  We were so blessed by this trip we decided to help keep this work going.  The video you see is the one from our trip. It will give you a good idea of the needs there.

Our campaign is to raise $30,000 dollars to send another team to Kenya.  There is so much work to be done its hard to decide what to do first. The school has grown from a few kids to over 6,0000 young men and women. The school now  has a water well, a bottle plant and the first Hydroponics farm which is raising fish and growing vegetables

USE OF FUNDS

$10,000 of this money will be used to send 30 people to aid the families in Mathare Valley
$5,000 will be used to add equipment to the water treatment plant
$10,000 will be used and finish a new dorm room

$5,000 will be used to do dental work and buy medical supplies

WHAT WE WILL DO

Everyone will get pictures and video from the families in Kenya taken by the workers while there.

This is such a great work.  We can not tell you in words how blessed we were to go to the Mathare Valley.  This is one of the poorest places on earth and families are dumped there to die. The love the people have for you is amazing!  They truly look forward to our visits and their world is changing because of people like you.
