The Story

Carpe Diem is a short film about Matt, a veteran with PTSD, who is on a quest given to him by his dying grandfather. Watch how Matt's struggles have impacted his marriage, his relationships and walk with Matt on the road to recovery.

About Me

This story is close to me, I served 5 years in the United States Marine Corps and as a disabled veteran and current film student at Arizona State University, I am very passionate about Veterans.

This subject is very close to my heart and I have even made a short documentary about veterans.

Budget Breakdown

The funds that I raise will go directly to the making of the film. I will be able to get good equipment and a very good crew because I want to make this project the best that it can be.

Why It's Important

I truly feel that this project will help veterans in seeking help when dealing with the issue of PTSD. At the end of the film I will attach the number to the veteran's hotline. I have seen many of my friends get divorced or commit suicide because they feel that there is no one to talk to. And that is what this film is about. This could save a veteran's life.
