For too long bike lights have ruined the look of your bike. They are ugly plasticky and not designed to last. Center Light changes that, it’s a serious bike component that will make your bike look great.

The twist lock mechanism is fully machined from aluminium. This gives the light a super satisfying 'click' as you fit it into place. The fact that it can be removed so easily is totally hidden. This means that Center Light looks like a permanent headlamp that would be difficult to steal. 

Even though bike lights stay on our bikes all the time, they often look like accessories. So we designed Center Light like a premium bike component. There's no flimsy plastic or silicon straps. 

There are 3 lighting modes with up to 400 lumens of power. Each lighting mode offers a different battery life. Mode 1 is maximum brightness while mode 3 has the longest battery life.

When the battery reaches a level of <10%, the light automatically dims to conserve power and get you home safely. This also lets you know that it’s time to recharge, so you will never be left out in the dark!

Unlike other bike lights, the rechargeable 18350 battery in Center Light can be easily replaced without any tools.

It’s no secret that overtime batteries fatigue and stop holding charge, so we made the ability to replace the battery a priority to extend the life of the product.

Center Light was designed from the ground up for longevity and is machined from high-quality aluminium, making it lightweight and durable.

If you currently have a cycle computer mounted up in front, but would still like a Center Light, you can move your cycle computer to the stem instead. 

We may supply additional mount options for the common quad-lock style cycle computers after our campaign ends, should you be interested. 

This is our second bike light we have brought to Kickstarter. The Beacon Headlamp was Launched on William Vickery's Kickstarter Profile in April 2022 and since then we have been working to develop a new mass market bike light that will look great on every bike under the new brand name Town Mouse Bikes.

Hi, I’m William, founder of Town Mouse Bikes. We designed Center Light to be a product that you actually want to put on your bike. 

Road bikes used to have headlamps, so we deiced to create a headlamp for the modern day bike.

With the increasing popularity of cycling and the decline of the use of cars to get around cities, Town Mouse aims to make cycling products that are perfect for everyday cycling. There are a lot of cycling brands that make bike gear for road racing or mountain biking, but almost none that make products for cycling to the shops or work. The purpose behind Town Mouse is to make products that serve the everyday cyclist.

I’ve launched 3 other successfully funded and fulfilled kickstarter campaigns (Beacon, Ferrule with Makers Cabinet and Card Anchor for Anchor Games). I’m really looking forward to seeing Center Light in the hands of cyclists across the globe. The factories that I used to produce components for the Beacon Headlamp are gearing up to begin production on Center Light. So to be first in line to get a Center Light this year, back today.
