Chasing a dream...

Three years of hard work and dedication has paid off. After losing the first set of the national championship match, Spectrum fought their way back to win gold at the 2015 Junior Olympics. With last year’s emotional national championship behind them, the new challenge: to do it all over again. Simply put, the boys of Spectrum 17s are on a mission to accomplish a new dream; to become back-to-back National Champions.

The boys have done their part becoming the team to beat finishing in first place and earning a Gold Medal at the Los Angeles Junior Olympic Qualifier.To finish capturing their journey, we need your help!

We are raising funds for expenses including travel costs, production costs, as well as post production costs. Our documentary crew plans to travel to the Junior Olympics in Dallas, Texas to capture the intense competition where the boys will be fighting to repeat as National Champions.

Volleyball is one of the more underrated sports today. While there are many scholarships available for girls there are FEW available for boys. The more we can get this sport out to the masses, the more we can help grow the game, and ultimately get more opportunities for our young athletes. We're aiming to help our future athletes as well as gain more recognition for the sport itself. Our goal is to leverage this compelling story to increase awareness, excitement and participation in this great sport.
