Cherry Street Cats in need of donations for veterinary care.
Cherry Street Cats (CSC) is a group of dedicated volunteers who feed and care for a registered feral cat colony in Toronto's down town waterfront shipyards. There are 18 cats currently requiring daily feedings and care, all of whom are neutered/spayed. One of the tenured cats, Teddy, has had an ongoing ear problem. He has visited the vet numerous times to have polyps removed. His condition would improve temporarily, but the visits were never a permanent fix. At this time, Teddy requires the care of a specialist to have a total ear canal ablation. In the past, Cherry Street Cats has managed to pull strings and raise money via fundraisers and donations. However, this procedure is substantially more expensive than a regular vet checkup and $4000 is needed for Teddy.
Please help CSC in ensuring Teddy continues to live a healthy, happy life as a feral cat. His current ear infections and polyps are painful and can be eliminated with the proper vet procedure and care.
