CHRISTINI AWD E-BIKES
The only E-Bike actually Fabricated in the USA!
We build stuff! Yes.... we actually fabricate our bikes in Philadelphia and have been doing so since 2003. We are launching this campaign to let the world know that we have new models available and that consumers can still get an E-Bike fabricated in the USA!
Our E-bikes are unique and offer the only AWD active traction control system built on a proven mechanical system. After 25 years in the market, we are still the original and only AWD system that actually functions like a real AWD vehicle.
Outdoorsmen, Hunters, and E-Bike enthusiasts will find our bikes to be top of the line in quality which is unmatched by the import brands (or pretty much every bike brand!). Not only will you get a custom built bike, you actually get to communicate and work directly with the fabricators of your frame. Yes.... custom built to order means there is some flexibility on the build and you get to pick your color as we powder coat locally.
Purchase now and save a bunch!
We need your commitment to get these new designs out in the market. By buying a bike now at a steep discount (30% or more), you enable us to buy more stuff, cut more metal, and weld more frames, allowing us to get these bikes out to you, our customers sooner and at a great price!
Why AWD on a bike?
Many people assume 2wd and 4wd are the same as AWD. We call our bikes AWD rather than 2wd as they operate as a smart system or what people call "posi-traction". The bike is always rear wheel drive except when the rear wheel slips. At that instant, the power of the slipping rear wheel will transfer power to the front wheel overrunning clutch, thus pulling the bike forward. When that happens, the rear wheel will find a new point of traction and then the power will go back to rear wheel. So it is amazingly efficient and only transfers power when you need it. This is NOT like a dual motor AWD E-Bike that sucks power and doesn't communicate between front and rear motors. This is actually active traction control!
In summary, the bike becomes a traction control machine on hill climbs, but even more impressive is the ability to have a traction control system on fast downhill descents. If the front wheel decelerates while going down a hill and around a loose corner (skids), the slowing front wheel will be pushed along by the rear wheel, thus allowing the rider to have a controlled two wheel slide. Picture a rally car sliding around a corner but still having total control.
All Wheel Drive is much more noticeable than anyone would think. And for the 2.3lbs added weight, if you're an aggressive rider, or just like traction, AWD can't be beat!
How It Works

Christini's patented mechanical All Wheel Drive system delivers power from the rear wheel to the front wheel through bevel gear on the rear, to a drive shaft INSIDE the frame, to a miter gear set in the headtube (it's a split head tube with 4 bearings) down to a chain in the chain crown, then to a shaft down the front fork which then transfers power to a front bevel gear and into the front hub where there is a front one way clutch (like the rear hub). This allows for a free wheel affect of the front wheel (much like pedaling the rear without putting in power) while the drive shaft is always moving and ready to apply torque. As soon as the rear wheel begins to stall, power is delivered to the front wheel, forcing it to turn. With the front wheel under power, thus preventing the rear wheel to "overspin" which allows it to regain traction. As soon as that happens, the front system seamlessly disengages and the bike is in rear wheel drive but always ready to transfer power to the front. This makes it is nearly impossible to wash out the front end. With added uphill traction and downhill control, you'll be amazed at what our bikes can do! There is no energy-robbing heavy dual motor system. The light weight all-mechanical system works similar to that of AWD systems found on four wheeled vehicles and works much like the original Rally car systems before there was electronic AWD systems. Pure mechanical Traction Control!

Risks?
The CHRISTINI AWD E-Bikes are not the first bikes we've made. In fact, the first mountain bike we ever made was back in 1999. We collaborated with many other companies and have worked with and tested with some of the industry leaders like Geoff Ringle and Gary Fisher (who loves our bikes!). We've been building weird/cool stuff for over 15 years.
With that said, we will complete each and every order that we receive guaranteed. We will make every effort to stick to the delivery timeline and will roll out the remaining bikes in a first ordered, first out the door delivery schedule.
If you have any questions about our ability to deliver and customer service, just search the web for what other customers have to say. We pride ourselves in being honest and fair and never letting anyone down.
