STORYLINE: The bright and optimistic days for Cirino Morales and his restaurant have become a distant memory. A lack of business leaves him with no choice but to close up. But when his young and motivating assistant, Tino, discovers a way to bring them some publicity, Cirino must make the dish he believes will hold the power to bring his restaurant back to fruition. If made correctly, this special dish could rekindle the flame to burn away the self-doubts that cloud his vision.
Dear Potential Contributor,
My name is Ryan Canney and I am a student of the Film & Media Arts program at Temple University. Over the past six months I have been working diligently to write the script of my Senior Thesis film, Cirino, and have already received much assistance from my teachers, mentors, family, and friends. They've pushed me to climb the magnificently overwhelming mountain known as the Creative Process. You create, struggle, get excited when you think you have it, then discover you don't, then think you'll never achieve it and finally discover that it was always within your grasp.
As of today the process is only halfway complete. I stand at the top of the mountain, ready to bring my vision to life. With that said, I will need YOUR HELP in my descent so I can soon share with you my story in the best way I know how.
What We Need & What You Get
We have projected a fundraising goal of $2,000. The money we raise will be used for anything and everything needed to make production run as smooth and successfully as possible: camera and sound equipment, set design, props, costume, food for the cast and crew, location and actor fees, post production fees, and film festival applications.
By making a donation, you yourself will have played an enormous role in making the film, and will deserve a reward for doing so.
