The ClipVR was born with a dream to find a pocket-able VR solution that would allow users to easily share 360-degree camera content as easily as checking your phone.
Our solution is a pair of clip-on VR glasses that allows users to experience VR, non-intrusively, in any environment.
The simple design of ClipVR makes it portable, and compatible with
ANY VR capable mobile device.
We have invested many hours designing and prototyping; we developed a fixed magnetic frame with a separate fixed clip for the ultimate solution - a sturdy, industrial, cool, stylish design.

RISKS & CHALLENGES
At ClipVR, we have been designing and prototyping the product ourselves, however we need to
rely on other companies for volume manufacturing and shipping.
We're
confident our product can be produced quickly and easily as we're talking to
several established companies with years of experience turning prototypes into high volume manufactured products. We need to be in constant communications with our partners in manufacturing, fulfillment and shipping, no matter the language or location.
While we possess the skills needed for a great development process, we have noted from other campaigns on Indiegogo that things do not always go according to plan. Minor challenges such as shipping, customs or delays in production can cause unintended delays in our process.
We will do our best to oversee every aspect of production in order to create the highest quality products and ship by our scheduled date.

When you donate $19 or more, we will send you a ClipVR with early bird shipping. This means you get your ClipVR before we officially enter the market!
In the higher tiers we include ClipVR t-shirts as well as the ultra-cool ClipVR Platinum, the aluminum framed version of our device.
At the top tier levels we offer early adopter access. If you want to get your hands on ClipVR as soon as possible, this tier is for you! We will send you a ClipVR well in advance of the product's early bird shipping date. As an early adopter, you will be a beta tester who will provide valued feedback directly to the team. Q: What is VR?
A: VR stands for Virtual Reality. Unlike real reality (the actual world in which we live), virtual reality means simulating bits of our world (or completely imaginary worlds) using a smartphone. Apart from games and entertainment, VR is used for training airline pilots and surgeons and helping scientists to figure out complex problems such as the structure of protein molecules.

A: You will get one ClipVR (black plastic or aluminum) depending on your backer Tier, with a carrying case
Q: How do I use ClipVR?
A: First install one of the recommended VR Apps such as Google Cardboard, Jaunt, Youtube, VRSE, NYT, Orbulus, Discovery VR, etc. Turn the phone horizontally, start the App and attach the ClipVR in the center of your smartphone screen. Select content in the App and enjoy!
Q: Will this work on my phone?
A: ClipVR works with any current smartphone.
Q: Does the screen size of my phone matter?
A: No, we have designed our product to accommodate all screen sizes.
