Cloud Control is a family party game for 3-10 players that plays in 15-30 minutes.  Players try to score the most points by forming clouds into recognizable objects and having the other players guess the shapes before time runs out.  With the ability to overlap and move the cards, you can make almost any cloud shape come to life!  Cloud Control is a game that can be taken out at family gatherings and enjoyed by all ages for years to come!   

Cloud Control has been chosen as 1 of 5 finalists in Hasbro’s Next Great Family Game Challenge, and at the end of this campaign, Hasbro, along with guest judge, Shark Tank’s Daymond John, will determine the grand prize winner that will receive $25,000, a trip for 4 to Hasbro headquarters, and the opportunity to work with Hasbro.

To begin the game, the cloud cards are placed in a grid in the center of the table.   

On your turn, choose a shape card and study the listed shapes.  

Once you are ready, the timer is flipped and you must get the other players to guess the shapes listed on your card before time runs out.  To do so, take cloud cards from the center grid and orient them to form a recognizable cloud shape.  You can turn, twist, stack and overlap the cloud cards, move and animate the cloud cards, or create anything related to the shape.  Just don't speak or make sounds!

Both you and the player who guessed correctly receive points based on the difficulty level of the guessed shape, and play continues until each player has taken a turn.  The player with the most points is the winner!

Cloud Control isn’t just for solo play – there are team play rules as well. Additionally, if this campaign reaches $12,000, the all-play lightning round (where all players frantically create the same cloud shape and then vote for the best one) will also be included to allow for even more ways for your family to enjoy Cloud Control!

Cloud Control will ship worldwide from fulfillment centers located in the United States, Canada and the EU, and we will be paying customs and VAT taxes and fees for supporters located within the United States, Canada and the EU.

Although we are not offering "friendly" shipping to other areas at this time, we hope our international supporters outside of these "friendly" areas can coordinate pooling orders for the Cirrocumulus (4 games) or Cirrostratus (5 games) perk levels in order to save game and shipping costs.  In order to stay fiscally responsible, however, we do not believe we can offer any other "friendly" shipping right now.  This may change if we receive a significant number of supporters in one area, and we are already in contact with fulfillment partners in Asia and Australia to make this possible.

Board Game Geek: Cloud Control

Eugene Bryant is originally from the small rural town of Lincolnton, Georgia and currently resides in Suwanee, Georgia.  In between, he went to school at the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), met the love of his life, and became father to 3 beautiful children.  He is an attorney by trade, rock star by wishful thinking, and game designer with what little time is left over.

Some of Eugene's fondest memories are playing classic board games with his father, Dudley.  Whether it was playing music, writing plays, constructing elaborate stage sets, or just coming up with projects around the house, Dudley always had something creative up his sleeve.  Eugene began Dudley Games in memory of his father to create lasting moments between families, and from the first moments of playing Cloud Control with his daughter and watching her make a butterfly, he knew he wanted to share Cloud Control with the world and bring the same enjoyment he had as a child to families everywhere.

Thanks to the joys of worldwide logistics, there are always complications to be had and mistakes to be made.  As first time creators, we have chosen to keep this project as simple as possible by keeping our perk levels straightforward, using a manufacturer with a proven track record in board game production, and utilizing an experienced and reputable fulfillment company to handle worldwide shipping, including coordination with international fulfillment partners.  We realize that problems and complications can arise in any project of any size, but we promise to address any problems head on and communicate with you to keep you informed as to the status of the final game.  We greatly value your faith and trust in us to deliver this game, and we cannot wait to get Cloud Control in your hands.

Absolutely!  If this campaign funds, we will be bringing Cloud Control to you regardless of the Hasbro contest results.  Cloud Control is a fully developed game that has been playtested hundreds of times, and we have spent many late nights speaking to manufacturers and fulfillment companies about the specifics of making and shipping Cloud Control.  While we would welcome the chance to work with Hasbro on Cloud Control, we are not reliant on them for manufacturing or development and will be making the game whether we win the contest or not.  We are up against some stiff competition, and you can check out the other finalists' games below:
