ISHLE YI PARK (aka LANI) NEEDS OUR SUPPORT!
* Co~create a DomeGaia Artists’ Retreat in Hawai’i! *
![]()
Our dear friend LANI Park (award~winning poet, singer, music teacher, food forest mama and author of Angel & Hannah: A Novel in Verse) has the chance to build a long term DomeGaia home for her family, her farm project (Lani’s Gardens of Eatin’), music school (Sweet Harmony Music School) & artists’ residency, Lani’s Garden’s Artists’ Retreat. This $5k fundraiser is to raise funds for the $3k deposit to work with DomeGaia (www.domegaia.com) to build a DomeGaia artists’ retreat on the land, to lay a concrete foundation for the dome, and gather the supplies necessary to host a building workshop with over 20-30 builders from across the country.
DomeGaia is an innovative company that builds unique and affordable houses and artists’ domes around the world, and was founded by Hajjar Gibran, who is a direct descendant of mystic poet Khalil Gibran, author of The Prophet. So this special project is entirely birthed by artists, for artists, and connects mystic & visionary poets through space and time! (For more info on DomeGaia, please click here: https://domegaia.com)
This is how You can help:
We are calling in 50 visionary & nature~loving poets, writers, artists, musicians, and healers invest $100 each in laying the literal concrete foundations to co~create the DomeGaia artists’ retreat on Lani’s land where she is growing a food forest, and which will be open as a safe, sacred space for artists’ retreats and residencies 1-3 moons out of every year, centering API, BIPOC, LGBTQ, women writers and writers with children. We have already hosted four writers~in~residence with glowing reviews. These 50 VIP artists will be the first ones invited to the artists’ retreat after the DomeGaia is complete! They will also have their names engraved on a wooden plaque that will be cemented into the foundation of the DomeGaia artists' retreat, so artists in the future can see who helped to literally build this sanctuary from the ground on up, and You can see your name engraved in the DomeGaia when you visit!
FOUR Poet Laureates (including the Poet Laureate of California and the Poet Laureate of New York) are already supporting this project, as well as 33 artists, writers, musicians, farmers across the country!
UPDATE: We have until June 23rd to close the $1500 gap….35 VIP artists have already reserved their ‘golden ticket’ invitations ~ only 15 VIP artist spots left!! We’re so close - let's do this!!

Impact
Our project is valuable to YOU and to the world, because it provides a safe space for You (and other API, BIPOC & LGBTQ & women artists) to retreat when the pressures and noise of the world become overwhelming. Every morning, we are blessed to wake up to birdsong and go to sleep at night to the soothing music of coquis ~ we are visited by blue dragonflies, red, gold and green birds,and butterflies ~ we swim in our round mermaid pool and sunbathe and garden naked in the warm sun ~ we want to share this paradise with You!
Other Ways You Can Help!
If you don’t have the funds right now to bless this project, that’s okay! You can still contribute, kokua and help, simply by getting the word out and sharing your support of our campaign. Feel free to share on social media ~ Facebook, IG, and use the Indiegogo share tools! Thank you, God Bless You, and may all your dreams blossom with beauty! ALOHA
