When do I get my product?
We've pre-produced all of the Early Birds products, so if you're lucky enough to be one of our Early Bird backers, we'll ship to you immediately after the campaign ends. For all other backers, you'll receive your products approximately 70 days after the end of the campaign.
Why have you pre-produced some products?
Unlike most campaigns, we've done a small pre-production. This is to ensure that the quality of our bags is up to the level Indiegogo backers expect, and that we can deliver our products on-time.
Where do you ship from?
All of our goods are manufactured in China and will be shipped directly from Hong Kong.
Do you charge for shipping?
We charge a small amount for shipping. The cost varies from country-to-country. You can see the price during the checkout process.
Will I be charged Tax in the EU?
Customers in certain countries in the EU (France, Germany, UK, Ireland, Italy and Spain) will NOT have to pay tax on arrival. We will pre-pay all customs taxes, duties and admin fees meaning no sudden surprises during delivery! Customers in other EU countries may have to pay tax but we will do our best to minimize these. Please note that other than the countries listed above, we are not able to pay these taxes on your behalf.
Will I be charged Tax elsewhere?
Taxes vary from country to country and due to the global nature of Indiegogo, it's impossible for us to make arrangements for every single country. However, we have done our best to minimize any taxes and import fees for you by either shipping from local hubs or pre-paying the taxes on individual shipments. Backers in France, Germany, UK, Ireland, Italy and Spain do not have to worry about additional taxes and fees, as we have paid these in advance.
Backers in the following countries should also not have to pay any additional fees: the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Japan, China, Korea and Taiwan. Based on our experience, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines should generally be fine but larger pledges (e.g. the multi-pack) may incur additional import fees. Backers in other EU countries may have to pay VAT or other import duties. Backers in Mexico, Brazil, India and Russia should be aware that the import process can be quite tricky and you may need to provide us with your tax information prior to shipping.
How long will shipping take?
Shipping will take between 3-7 days for most countries. We'll update all backers several days before our shipping commences and will notify you as soon as your product is on its way.
Will my products be trackable?
Yes! All orders will be fully trackable. We'll send tracking numbers out to you via email 2-3 days after your order has been shipped.

Can I get a refund if I don't like my product?
Unlike most Indiegogo campaigns, our backers are able to claim a refund if they change their minds. Please be aware that the Indiegogo fees are not refundable and the return shipping fee will be borne by the backer.
Is there a warranty on the bags?
Yes! All products come with a one year warranty. The warranties cover all manufacturing defects. More information can be found on our website.

Who are Code10?
Code 10 was founded by Chris + Charlie, two product designers from Switzerland and the UK.
We met whilst working in Hong Kong a city where your working life and the outdoors blend together. We both love to travel, surf and spend our time adventuring, which is how we ended up deciding to make perfect adventure bags!
Why Lockable?
Although Hong Kong is generally a safe place, it’s still a big city and there’s always the risk of pick-pocketing and petty theft. We therefore designed the pockets on the bag so that we could keep our valuables in an easy-to-reach position, but also completely out of reach of criminals.
Why Waterproof?
With regular "Code 10" typhoons, Hong Kong can be a very rainy place - like many tropical places, it can go from sunshine to rain in a matter of seconds. Over the last few years we therefore found ourselves using waterproof bags a lot, especially if we knew we would be taking our laptops to a client meeting in the morning, then heading off to a beach or a hiking trail in the afternoon.
However, we found that most waterproof bags aren't designed to be functional for everyday use. Usually they don't have practical pockets and have no space for your tech products. Our first step was to design a waterproof bag that would be really useful, and perfectly suit our mixture of work and leisure, city life and travel.

GENERAL PRODUCT QUERIES
Is the material cutproof?
The Code 10 Backpack is not made of a specialist cutproof material. It's extremely durable and would put up a good fight against a thief with a knife, but it is not impenetrable to someone with good tools. What we aimed for was a bag that would prevent against petty thieves, pickpockets and bag snatchers. We actually experimented a lot with slash proof materials and in the end we decided not to use it for the Code 10. There were a number of reasons for this, but the main one was that we did not find a material that was both truly waterproof AND truly slashproof.
Are the bags fully waterproof?
Our bags are highly water resistant. This means that they'll keep out 99% of moisture in heavy rain conditions. We'd go as far as to say that they're waterproof, but the reason we don't actually call the bags waterproof is that if they're not closed properly, you may find water creeping in. We therefore advise you to avoid submerging the bags in water if possible.
