Short Summary
Cold Fusion is a timely play about alternative energy, trust, and paranoia. We have four performances scheduled this June as part of the 2015 Hollywood Fringe Festival in Los Angeles.
The story: All Trevor has to do is answer a few questions. All the patent clerk has to do is sign a piece of paper. But when the answers aren't forthcoming, neither is the pen. As the investigation gets more intense, it becomes obvious they both have something to hide.
As the play cuts between the invention of "the machine" and the final meeting with the patent office, a story unfolds that reminds us who has the power in the fight for clean energy.
What We Need & What You Get
The $3,500.00 we're raising goes to cover production expenses, including:
- Venue rental
- Rehearsal space
- Payment for our director, stage manager, and actors
- Marketing
- Wardrobe, props, set design

Obstacles & Opportunities
As with all productions, finances are the biggest challenge. We're funding Cold Fusion from our personal finances, and this crowd-funding campaign will help us recoup the costs.
We're positioned to produce a great play. This is our second year participating in the Hollywood Fringe Festival, and between us we've produced a number of other outstanding shows. David Henne (The Lying Game) brings his theatrical experience to the project, and David Harper brings a wealth of experience having produced a number of award winning films and plays.
