What is Cold Hill?
Cold Hill is a 10 minute film written by Sumi Bal. Our crew consists of a director, Kevin Dorian, and two producers, Jade Davis and Hannah Lempereur. It is an original prison drama, set in the UK in the present time. Our main character, Claude, is a prisoner who has just been left by his girlfriend, and his friends convince him to get revenge.
What We Need & What You Get
While our university provides the equipment to make this film, we do not get any funding. However, we want to make this film the best it can be, and that cannot be done without money. With your support, we will be able to cover necessary expenses such as:
- Props and costume: we want everything in this film to look as realistic as possible, and good props and costume will allow that.
- Transportation: this film has a large cast, and transportation costs are an important part of our budget.
- Catering: this film cannot be made if the cast and crew are hungry, which is why catering is also an important part of our budget.
- Set building: for this film, we will build some sets in the campus studio, but we need to cover the costs of it.
- Child actor license and chaperone: one of the main characters in this film is a child. There are some very specific requirements and costs that we need to cover in order to work with children.
