The Story
Sometimes you don't find your moment. It finds you. When the city's most notorious crime syndicate decides to go through a restructure within their organization where players at every level look to take advantage of this.
For Johnny and Scott, working the streets has been the routine but tonight is the time to step up and seize the opportunities placed before them.
We invite the audience to come along for the ride. Witness what happens when the need for success pushes them, and those around them, past the point of no return.

The Origins
The voyeuristic aspect of film is always interesting and we started to develop a world within which a story could flourish. Two guys, driving around a city, going about their daily routine of pick ups and drop offs for a huge drug ring.
We want to create a world which not only shows how these 2 guys navigate through it, but how everyone else is fighting for their slice of the pie.
At its very core, Color Me Grey is about everyone's individual definition of success. And we're exploring what lengths they're willing to go to in order to achieve that.
We quickly realised that for us to do it justice and create this living and breathing world, we would need a little help.
Our ambition for this project is the following:
- To create a standalone short film to be submitted to festivals and exist as it's own story.
- To leverage this short to then pitch the concept for a Series. We already have a bigger picture mapped out for these characters, and we appreciate your help in giving us the opportunity to bring the full story to life.

Our People
Writer/Director - Adam Lyons
Cast:
We are looking to raise at least £2,500. That will allow us to cover the following:
- Securing locations. This is a huge aspect of what will help bring the world we want to create to life.
- Transport to and from locations for Cast and Crew.
- Catering for Cast and Crew. These are going to be long night shoots, so people need to eat to keep morale high!
- Covering submission fees on festival entries.
Any additional money raised on top of the £2,500 will go towards marketing budget for the film to generate as much buzz around it as possible.
How Else Can You Help?
We appreciate that not everyone is willing or able to part with their hard earned cash. Hopefully you like the project enough to do so. But if not, there are still ways you can help. We want to spread the word about the film and everyone involved. That way we will increase our chances of hitting our funding target, but even more importantly, we'll be able to reach more potential fans.
So, please do share info on the film on Social Media. Use the hasthtag #colormegrey if on Twitter and feel free to let people know about this Indiegogo Page or to direct them to the IMDB Listing here :
