Background
Hello! My name is Davis and all my life I've had a passion for technology. I was often involved in projects such as building computers or making apps. I also really love honey bees! I have two bee hives, they are my pride and joy. I never thought these two passions could collide. One day, I was at the beach on cnet.com looking at smart watches and I realized just how un-user friendly they were. I decided I could create a smart watch that was easier to use and more efficient than all the cumbersome smart watches out at the time. That's when I had a vision! I saw a smart watch that used a tessellation of seven hexagons to put information right at a user's fingertips. After many hours of research and google sketchup renderings, Comb720 was born.
Comb720 currently runs off an open-source platform called WaRP board. WaRP board puts Comb720 on the level of big corporations because it has all the high-end parts of any normal smart watch. In the future, I hope to have a main board designed just for Comb720. The tessellation of hexagons allows the watch to display all the information needed in a very organized and space efficient manner. On typical smart watches, things move around and the user gets lost. However with Comb720 the OS only allows the user to get one page away from home making it so you can't get lost. While the OS for the Comb720 is very nice looking, it also has amazing reason behind it!
Comb720 will ship in two models: Comb720 Active and Comb720 Leather. Comb720 Leather is displayed above, it has a genuine leather strap and a metallic case. Comb720 Leather is just as nice as any fancy watch, except you get the added bonus of the revolutionary tessellation of hexagons! Comb720 Active has an athletic paracord watch band with an adjustable strap. It also has a gorgeous carbon fiber reinforced body, this makes Comb720 Active incredibly durable! I hope to make both models of Comb720 waterproof. At the moment I am talking about a waterproofing nano coating with a few different companies.
What I Need & What You Get
I need $50,000 so that I can finalize the design for Comb720 and ready it for production. I will use this money to make a prototype, make the companion app, and finalize other payments. I have an amazing software engineer working for a very low price and I would love to have him work on the companion app too. If I raise enough funds, I will also hire someone to design a PCB (Printed Circuit Board) so that I don't have to use WaRP board. Lastly, I will use this money to ramp up production on Comb720 so I have capacity to produce them as needed. Please give me a hand and donate today!

Risks & Challenges
This project will have many challenges along the way, tons that I cannot even predict. One potential challenge is getting in touch with big manufacturers. They may not be open to business with a 7th grader. I think that if I get big enough where I can develop my own PCB (Printed Circuit Board) the manufactures will talk to a representative. Another challenge might be developing my own PCB for Comb720. However, I believe that if we hire a professional to develop the PCB there won't be any issues. There will also be plenty of other challenges along the way, but I believe that with your help we can bring Comb720 to market!
