The Plan
Hi folks, Brian here. I've successfully self-published four novels, one novella, and a short story anthology. I've also had several shorts traditionally published. Writing is my career, and pleasing readers is my job. I know how much time, money, and effort it takes to produce a professional quality book, and I don't miss my deadlines.
I'm undertaking my most ambitious project yet: publishing one novel in the planned four-book XSeed series every sixty days starting in January 2019. Producing that much quality content that fast is a challenge. Luckily, I'm ahead of the game. The series' first installment, Combat Frame XSeed, is already written. I know you can't wait to read the whole book, so I'm giving my backers the chance to get Combat Frame XSeed two full months before the official launch! Here's how we get there.
Indie authors have total creative freedom to bring readers the fun, exciting stories they deserve. But there's a trade off. Indies have to cover the costs of art, editing, and formatting ourselves in time or money. We also don't get advances to keep the lights on while we write the next book.
Production costs for the first XSeed book have already been covered, so reward fulfillment is guaranteed if this campaign's goal is met. I'm seeking funding for the second book's production and to cover reward fulfillment costs.
Since there's a sixty day delay between a new book's launch and Amazon's first royalty payment, funds left over will take the place of an advance to help with my personal, business, and household expenses. That way I can devote my full attention to writing and bring you fun, exciting books on schedule!
