THIS IS OUR COMEDY THINGY
Comedy Thingy is Dave Bonde, Rick Davis, Jeff De Leon, and Clay Sander - four longtime friends brought together by a common love of quality sketch and improv comedy. With a mix of training and performances at such illustrious institutions as The Second City, ImprovOlympic (iO), The Playground, Annoyance Theater, and ComedySportz, Comedy Thingy evolved from an improv troupe into an experienced comedic entity.

In the past year, Comedy Thingy debuted their premiere sketch show to large sold-out audiences and continued with a well-received, highly-acclaimed appearance at the 2014 Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival.

In addition to numerous performances across the Midwest, Chicago, Los Angeles, and the Quad Cities, Comedy Thingy has produced two comedy albums, performed on the stand up circuit, and produced a litany of sketch revues including the critically-acclaimed Leopold!

WHAT WE NEED
We are extremely proud of our material and want to get it out in front of as many people as possible. With that in mind, we are currently producing video versions of many of our audiences favorite sketches & characters. We are also producing new, original material - and that’s where your support comes in.

We are hoping to raise $2,750 for this project.

This goal will help us reach a high level of production quality and will cover:
• Video production
• Props and costumes
• Additional casting
• Marketing, advertising, and publicity
• Legal and rights fees
