Director's Statement
As I'm a high school senior attending Harvard this fall, this story is by far the most personal I've ever told. Almost every classmate I've shown this to has either cried or expressed intense relatability to Miles’ pressures he feels leaving for college and grappling with leaving friends and family for the first time.
This is a story about Generation-Z above anything else, and though this may sound incredibly self-indulgent, no content I've seen online or in-person has portrayed our generation so vividly and personally as the script I wrote.
To share this universal story with as many people as possible, we plan to screen the film at the largest film festivals in the world, including Sundance, SXSW, and Tribeca — which our producer Scott has so consistently succeeded in for the last four years.
