Our Story
The story is about how human relationships are all closely interlinked even though sometimes not seemingly obvious. The short film follows one character to another as the audience see how their relationships transpire with different people. The audience follow from character to character unfolding their sexual adventures until revealing the truth about the first and last character. Like Crash (Paul Haggis, 2004), the characters lives interlink without them realising. The first and last character happily cheat on each other while unaware that their partner is doing the same thing.
Our crew consists of talented up and coming filmmakers, who all plan to share their cinematic visions with the globe. We are young and enthusiastic filmmakers seeking others around the world to be part of this big project. With this in mind the film will be distributed throughout the festival circuit but we need your help and contributions to achieve this goal.
Alex, a good looking and well groomed man in his late thirties, meets his friends at a bar. This is where he meets Sarah, an attractive girl in her late 20s who is also out with her friends. They soon get talking, and inevitably Alex wakes up in Sarah's bed the following day. Alex swiftly disappears leaving Sarah to wake up alone.
Frustrated that yet again she has been used, Sarah goes to work miserable. Her day gets worse when later that afternoon her tire bursts and she is stranded on the side of a country road. At a turn of luck, a handsome and well dressed man pulls up behind her as she is attempting to change her tire. Will proceeds to change Sarah's tire for her as they get in to a conversation. Thankful for his help and clearly attracted to him, Sarah leaves Will with her number and drives away.
Will walks to the door and rings the doorbell. Gaz, a handsome yet somewhat older man, answers in just his dressing gown. It becomes apparent that Will fancies Gaz, and they have had a relationship in the past, they drink some wine before Will lets himself out as Gaz turns back to his bedroom. Michelle, a beautiful lady in her late 20s is waiting for him, covered only by his bed sheets.
Michelle is sitting in her car, she re-does her make up before getting out and heading towards her house. She enters the house where we see her husband, getting ready for bed. As he turns it is revealed that her husband is Alex, from the beginning of the film. The married couple, unaware of each others antics get ready for bed.
Just to clarify, THIS IS NOT AN ANIMATION like demonstrated in the video above, it will be shot with real actors in real locations.
The Impact
Our aim in making this film is to mirror how today's society perceives marriage, relationships and sex. It explores the idea of modern adultery and the idea that 'It is a small world'. We have been in pre-production for months, tweaking ideas and storyboarding to make sure this project is fully ready to set sail. We have tried to offer creative and exciting perks, and would love to have your name in the credits.
What We Need & What You Get
We are looking for $3000 to allow this film to happen. The money will be put towards the obvious - actors, locations, props, the festival circuit and much more. We have already secured access to high quality editing suites, studios and fantastic locations. Our crew all have strong ambition and the dedication to make this film go far, all we need now are your contributions.
