OVERVIEW
Conceivable Truths is a story about a twisted love affair between a painter and his art curator. What starts as a simple fling quickly becomes a much deeper and darker relationship than either expected. We hope to explore the complications of love affairs and the emotional effect they can have on each other and their loved ones. Sometimes, love isn’t what it seems.
WHY WE ARE FUNDRAISING:
Although films are fulfilling and exciting to make, they are also incredibly expensive to produce.
As recent graduates of Emerson College and independent filmmakers, there are a lot of external challenges that make it difficult to bring these stories to life, especially given the current state of the industry and all the roadblocks in place. This is where we need your help!

DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT
Cristina da Luz met Delany Davis while studying film at Emerson College. The two quickly connected over their shared passion for directing and writing stories centered around the human experience. They even lived together while working on several projects in college before recently graduating in 2024.
Now living in LA, the directing duo has continued their friendship, and they are working on their first collaborative independent film together. Both have combined their shared talents and love for Romantic Thrillers into this beautifully tragic love story. Through this film, the two hope to break into the LA independent scene with an original, shocking take on this genre.
