CO-SMART intelligent Lock features an ergonomic design for comfort and syncs with a bracelet that acts like a keyless remote.

For safety reasons, we capped the R1’s speed at 4.5 mph. Fast enough to keep up with most people.

2. Does the R1 follow behind or beside the user?

When COWAROBOT R1 is in the Autonomous Mode, it will identify your unique tracking bracelet and autonomously follow you by your side.

3. Can I control the R1 by remote?

No, due to safety concerns we decided not to enable remote function on the R1.

4. How does the R1 avoid obstacles?

When CO-EYE detects an obstacle, it will relay the information back to the CO-MOVE System which will plan a path, and navigate the R1 around the obstacles, while still keeping up with you.

5. Is the R1 a carry-on?

Yes, COWAROBOT R1 is a carry on luggage with TSA approved locks and a Removable Power Source. The one-push open lid allows you to access the front storage compartment quickly and conveniently, to take out the removable power bank, laptop, and other electronics for security checks. 

6. Where can I get the APP?

Download the COWAROBOT App from App Store (for iPhone users) or Google Play (for Android users).

7. Can I bring the battery on my flight?

Yes, the R1 battery pack complies with the UN 38.3, UL and FCC standards. The capacity of battery is also in accordance with the FAA regulations (up to 100Wh per battery).

8. How many times can I recharge my iPhone 6S Plus?

The R1’s portable power bank can fully charge an iPhone 6S plus up to 9 times.

9. How do I charge my R1? 

Remove the portable power bank from the front compartment of the suitcase, then use the included power adapter to charge your portable power bank. it will be fully charged in around 1 hour and 45 minutes.

10. How heavy is it / What are its dimensions?

The R1 is a 20-inch carry-on luggage (21.7*14.9*7.9in) that weighs 10.5 pounds, consisting of an easy access front compartment, a spacious main compartment, and robotic components which make it autonomous.

11. What do I do if my R1 requires maintenance?

12. Does it come with a warranty?

Yes, a 1-year warranty, and an additional year for pre-order customers.
