We’re in the midst of a revolution.
At a time when most independent, specialized businesses are being pushed into obscurity by an overly monopolized, global economy, craft beer is flourishing. This evidenced by the juggernauts Anheuser-Busch, MillerCoors and Heineken [which composed of 90% of the total beer market in the 2000s] experiencing steep declines, yet brewery jobs are at an all time high. People are drawn to craft breweries because of the commitment to higher quality ingredients, unique flavor profiles and because they all begin the same way - as a labor of love which makes for a great story.
Crafted seeks to celebrate these brave brewers by showcasing not only their hops but their stories on a national level so they can reach a broader audience. Each season we will chose 4 different breweries and one beer from each to sell in a multipack that consumers can buy directly. It’s our hope that by bringing these stories and their inspired brews into the living rooms of enthusiasts, we can foster a crafted culture.

Craig Chapman - Producer & CEO
I have 20 years of experience in New York as a production manager working for MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, Logo, and more. I currently produce a series on Amazon Prime called Real Food Real Kitchens that is all about family, food, culture, and history.
Christopher Berger - COO
I have a decade of experience in the food and beverage industry educating patrons on brewing styles, locations and ingredients in craft beer. Additionally, I have 5 years of experience in commercial sales and marketing.
Mission
Crafted will revolutionize the way people are able to experience and try new craft beers from breweries all over the country. Viewers will be able to watch the Crafted digital series that tells the stories of four different breweries each season. They will then be able to order and try a mix-pack of beer that features one beer from each brewery featured in a season of Crafted.
FUNDING GOAL - $5,000
Most of the funding we are raising will go towards start-up expenses for Crafted. These funds will provide us with all the necessary tools to make this a success.
$500 - e-commerce platform / website hosting and domain for the first year.
$300 - business cards and small swag items (stickers etc...)
$1,000 - legal expenses for contracts, release forms, terms of service etc..
$600 - travel expenses - we will need to take two over night trips to the Tampa area and South Florida to shoot the series.
$200 - beer packaging retail license so we can buy and ship mix-pack packages
$2,100 temporary office / shipping space
$300 - Contingencies = 5% of total budget

While our perks are non-tangible, they are huge on bragging rights. You will be able to tell friends and family that you helped support an all new concept for people to experience and try new craft beers. You could even share one those new beers with them while watching the episode and showing them your name in the credits.

Your support will go to help create a one of a kind series that explores the passion behind craft breweries, and break down decades old barriers that have prevented craft brewers from getting their creations in to the hands of fans outside of their immediate geographic location.
Track Record
Our producer Craig has an incredible track record working on tv series and feature films for 20 years in NYC. He has worked as a production manager for MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, Time Inc.... and as an editor for InTouch Weekly and Seventeen Magazine. He has also produced digital series and content on Hulu, Amazon Prime, the MX Player, Facebook Watch and more.
Turning a Profit
Although we will be producing Crafted on a tight budget. We love telling stories of passion and emotional commitment and Crafted nails each one of these triggers for us. We will be shooting and editing the entire first four episode season with the belief that the response we will get from craft beer enthusiasts will be astounding. Our payment will come from making an engaging and amazing series that will pay off with substantial viewership and mix-pack sales.
Risks and Challenges
Crafted is an all new concept that is charging headfirst in to an untapped business model that is full of firsts. Crafted is part digital series, part craft beer e-commerce opportunity that presents a risk that is unmeasured and can’t insure our success.
We are facing this challenge knowing it will be difficult to navigate but also know it has the potential for huge success. We believe the rewards will outweigh the risks.
