From the heart and soul of the founder:
Owning my own business has been my lifelong pursuit. My life experience has shown me that I love to cook, I love to bake, and I love to make people happy. I have often heard, “You have missed your calling,” when cooking or baking for an event, party or gathering, but to me, my “calling” just hadn’t started yet. My entrepreneurial heart craved freedom. The freedom to decide the who, the what, the when and the how. The freedom to create great food, play good music, make people laugh and provide a memorable experience. The freedom to achieve my lifelong vision. Over the years, ideas, concepts and plans came and went. In retrospect, it seemed as though the food truck “concept” kept rollin’ past me until it finally clicked for me…this would be a startup business that I could achieve and it was everything I loved to do. The research and planning began and showed that the food truck was an attainable and affordable way to kick start my future with an incredible amount of potential. Determining my niche in this industry took me through several iterations until I finally realized that the crock pot as a means of providing good, home-cooked meals for my growing and busy family was the answer. Seeing other moms at my kid’s soccer practice just as busy as I was, watching hordes of people lined up at the drive thru for a quick lunch or on their way home two hours after dinner time, and eavesdropping on conversations with friends and coworkers as they discuss their stress-filled lives. I could be a solution by providing really good food quick. The mobile food trailer with crock pot cooked entrees emerged as my “calling.”
Crock & Roll will serve hot sandwiches slow-cooked in a crock pot overnight and a different, made-from scratch cheesecake every day. The Crock & Roll food trailer will be “rockin” with rock-n-roll music and customers will order their sandwich favorite by name…literally. Our sandwiches will be named after ultra-famous rock-n-roll musicians…Ozzy Osbourne, Jimi Hendricks and Led Zeppelin, to name a few. With determination and a never-ending passion for good food and making mealtime fun, Crock & Roll WILL become a mainstay in Las Vegas…because “fast” food shouldn’t be boring.

We are looking to raise $5,749 to partially cover the equipment(crock pots, refrigerator, oven/stove) we need to complete the mobile food trailer. We have purchased the 8.5' X 18' trailer equipped with a 100 amp panel with plugs, lighting and air conditioning, plumbing with 3 compartment sinks and handwashing sink, concession window with windows and screens and lastly the hood vent with a grease trap!
We have great gifts for all donors, large and small. We have our love and gratitude, the first ever Crock & Roll t-shirts, Crock & Roll entree's, Crock & Roll cheesecakes, special invites to a VIP party so you can put your dime in the jukebox and dance with me and of course signing your name on the Crock & Roll Wall of Fame because we could not have finished without you!!
If we don't reach our goal we will put everything into the equipment and put the rest on credit cards!!! We have already put in over $20,000 so its happening either way!!!
The Impact
Crock & Roll greets each customer “where they are.” As a mobile operation, Crock & Roll eliminates the inconvenience of travel for our customers by coming to them and provides a fast and easy way to eat allowing for a more relaxing lunch or dinner break. We are the solution for boring fast food lunches, hungry kids at the end of a busy day, or a drab, stale bag of popcorn at the soccer park.
After the first three years of operation, we plan to operationalize a second mobile food venture called “Lean With It” that serves an extreme health-conscious menu geared toward Generation Z, which will be introduced to the market during certain events like EDC, Burning Man and Life Is Beautiful through the Crock & Roll venue. Five year growth goals include multiple Crock & Roll food trucks in Nevada and the surrounding states.

There is no restaurant, mobile or otherwise, serving the majority of its menu from a crock pot. That means for the Crock & Roll customer, a brand new food option is available to them that is healthier in preparation than most fast food and chain restaurants (without being completely vegetarian and/or vegan) and provides convenience and value for their dining out dollar. Crock & Roll can compete in this market with its unique product and exceptional service, its pricing model, and its ability to serve our customer without sacrificing profit margin.
