Hi. Thanks for looking over my IndieGoGo Pitch.  I am a 2018 New York Film Academy Graduate, Gold Coast Campus, Australia, with a Diploma in Screen and Media.  I have made short films before, but "Crooks" will be my first feature length film.  My first and only fully Independent Short Film, (that I wrote, directed and produced), won an Award in the Independent Shorts Awards in Los Angeles in 2019, and is now appearing on Community Television in Adelaide. I directed another Film, which was nominated for Best First Time Director in the same Awards in LA, the previous month.

I am 20 yrs old, grew up in Victoria, Australia, and moved to the northern Gold Coast as a teenager in 2014 with my family. I have been making films since I was young, on my iPod.  I have always loved Westerns and Gangster films and wanted to make my own, in a way that everyone can enjoy them, without the excessive violence and drug themes.   

"Crooks" is fully written and ready for Production.  I am in the process of confirming locations at the moment and going through cast rehearsals. The film will be shot mostly on the Gold Coast, in May this year.  If you watch the Video reel you will see the current Cast introduction with actors from diverse cultures, showing the multi-national Australia we love.

The Film will give the crew, (many who are from the New York Film Academy), and cast an opportunity to gain experience, add to their filmographies, and network for their future projects. I am working with the same Director of Photography, and some of the cast, that I used from "Lets Talk Numbers" as they are talented, and capable of fulfilling the roles I need. 

"Crooks" will be entered into many Film Festivals, locally and Internationally, shown on YouTube, and other streaming services.  I also intend to have a premiere showing at the Home of the Arts, in Bundall, Surfer's Paradise.

Any funds raised will go directly to Production, to pay for locations, costumes, props and services, such as the hire of an Armourer for the Shootout scenes, and a Caterer, etc.  The film itself will provide a boost to up-and-coming Film Crew and provide experience and Credits to new, unknown talent.
