Singer-songwriter Tony Turner has written a brilliant sing-along song called "Harperman". The extremely positive reaction to this song led to the idea of holding a Cross-Canada Harperman Sing-Along to give the whole country an opportunity to join in.  On Thursday, September 17, on Parliament Hill and in 27 other locations across Canada, and online as well, people will raise their voices to sing out a joyful message from coast to coast to coast..."Harperman, it's time for you to go!"

The Harperman Cross-Canada Sing-Along will inspire thousands of people across Canada to sing this upbeat song about the need for positive change. We are a group of musicians, event organizers and loyal citizens who want to return control of Canada to people who are ethical, respectful and compassionate. With your help, we can make this happen.

"Harperman" is a toe-tapping, fast-moving, ear-catching, cool-rhyming, smile-inducing song you'll instantly want to sing along with. The song arose from frustration at the long list of governmental attacks on Canadian rights and values over the past 10 years. Andrew Hall's video of the song has been viewed extensively on YouTube since being posted on June 20.

This historic Cross-Canada Harperman Sing-Along will help everyone think about what kind of country we want to live in and what values we want our leaders to have. As we sing out joyfully, we'll be celebrating our belief in fairness, cooperation, compassion and openness. As the great Pete Seeger showed, we can make the world a better place – and also have a lot of fun – by singing together. With your support, thousands of people will do that all across Canada on Thursday, September 17th!
