Who is Nico B?
Nico B, founder of the legendary Amsterdam video store, Cult Videoheek, started Cult Epics in 1991, where the first films acquired for Benelux (Netherlands, Belgium) distribution were The Exotic Dances of Bettie Page, Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, Cannibal Holocaust, and Tokyo Decadence. Moving to the US in 1998, he continued to release arthouse, horror and erotica films in North America, specializing in the work of directors such as Walerian Borowczyk, Tinto Brass, Jean Genet, Fernando Arrabal, Rene Daalder, Abel Ferrara, Radley Metzger, Jorg Buttgereit, Irving Klaw and pin up Bettie Page, among others – in definitive editions on DVD and Blu-ray. He also directed the films PIG, 1334, 100 Girls by Bunny Yeager, Bettie Page Dark Angel, and SIN.
